CD Projekt Red has always been a reputable developer despite today's gaming industry downward trends, here is a game that astonishes you in every areas; though not perfect, this is as close as it comes. CD Projekt has crafted a masterpiece and sealed their legacy in the open-world RPG genre.

The Witcher 3 let you jump into THE MOST engrossing open world ever created, blooming with contents that does not dip in quality. ANY side quests you find along your journey are as well written and engaging as the main storyline. Comparing to games like Dragon age inquisition, Assassins Creed, Far cry etc, which often chooses the path of Quantity>Quality leaving you with map filled with endless supply of meaningless side content, Witcher 3 provides the best of both worlds.

The story of witcher 3 continues the tale of the wild hunt through Geralt of Rivia, while introducing a new character named Ciri: a daughter figure that Geralt holds dear. Determined to track Ciri down, little does Geralt knows that the wild hunt is on her trail (beyond that is spoiler territory which I won't get into). The main quest will take your journey across 3 major landscapes and a few surprises along the way. Lasting up to 40-45 hours excluding the side quests.

NEWCOMERS may have some trouble with the politics of the world, but the game does a good job at filling in the details and let you build your own memory from previous game, while characters are incredibly well written that you won't have difficult time establishing their relationships to Geralt.

Pros:
- lengthy and mature story
- tight & responsive combat
- great animations
- stunning graphics
- living world and characters
- TONS of quality contents
- branching stories and characters
- choices are not black & white and have profound consequences
- solid RPG elements
- solid ending
Cons:
- movement controls clunky at times
- horse control is horrid (you will get stuck by little tree branch)
- combat is somewhat shallow in the long run (bump up the difficulty can make it more enjoyable)
- final boss was dissapointing

TLDR: get the game you cheeky **** 10/10

I will tell you the easiest way to decide whether you should buy this game or not. Ask yourself this question: "are you able to enjoy a game for its gameplay alone or do you require your game to be story-driven?"

Personally I'd alway pick the latter. Unfortunately, this game has almost zero story and any real purpose to keep you engage except for its gameplay and graphics which are both solid. The game is built on driving in its open-world environment to towns where you pick mutiple "fetch-quests" with characters asking you to run errands for them as you mindlessly follow their orders.

Yes, I have only spent 4.3 hours on this supposedly 10 hours game and I'm going to uninstall it as I find it hard to progress any further. If you don't believe what I had to say based on my playtime then atleast ask the question above if you are considering buying this game.

A really solid entry for the franchise, the gameplay is much more polished than the previous hitmans but the lack of customization is rather disappointing, there is no load out to pick before every mission. It might make sense due to the plot but seriously, it wouldn't that hard to pick out your weapons even though you're on the run. Much more narrative than other hitman games and the characters are quite interesting and funny.

Easily one of the best RPG alongside with the Mass Effect series: true rpg experience, fun-combat (much better than witcher 1), great mature story, choice matters, great length and amazing graphics
