Not perfect, but better than the last time I reviewed it.

Pros: I'm spinning like a ballerina with my sledgehammer, I'm almost completely leveled, and every house becomes a new challenge to sell to a specific client. If there is a will, there is a way. Every client gets what they want, even if it is the most disgusting home I 'cleaned up' the barest minimum.
Honestly I love the freedom of it. It reminds me of the house renovation part of the Sims, but in first-person.
You have a large selection of houses to fix-up, including one on the MOON!
The furniture is varied in size and style, and you get to play with colors.
Cons: Sometimes your debris are the things spinning like a ballerina in the air. Sometimes there is grass in your doorways. Sometimes your whole patio goes transparent.
HOWEVER, these are MINOR things!
Devs are good at updating, patching, and giving new content.
Great game, good fun, worth my 57 hours at the time of the review. Honestly, a lot of it might be mowing grass, because there's nothing like a fresh clean lawn.

Bought this for me and a pal.
Decided that hard wasn't good enough for me.
Died hundreds of times.
Got my wits about me, made bank with beak thing eggs, had people eaten alive.
Excellent game.

Don't forget to grab that sweet DLC from Games2Gether if you want the final ending.

Really? This game was really fun. Went in because it was funny and free, came out with all the achievements and a stupid smile on my face.

I love space. I really aspire to go to space one day, reaching past the sky. This is the game for that. You can play as a nomad, but always be ready to slap down some bases. After your first base, you really do have the choice: do you want to investigate the conflict of your galaxy, or wander freely?

I always love pursuing the conflict. But that also means getting bad with the police (sentinels) a lot. You can decide what you want for your little solar system. What you do is up to you, but some the most ambitious things you can do? Mine an entire planet to scraps, reach the center of the galaxies, and wage Intergallactic War (mostly against the sentinels you tick off for bullets).

Multiplayer is a feature and I always enjoy the surprise of someone just plopping into my galaxy, dumping gold on me or trying to fight me, and then hopping right off. I see people I may never see again.

Sure, you might need a beefy computer. You might get frozen when a friend decides to warp their stupid freighter while you're still in the hold. You might die. You might have to hide underground your first play-through and try to dodge ravenous beasts on some hell-planet.

But is it worth it?

Yes.

As much as I love Ark, and sinking many many hours on it, I'm not happy with the Ragnarok DLC. The first few deaths I experienced were thankfully fine, too many Ichy Birds (as I call them) in one particular area, but that did not daunt me.

My problem: I was climbing a hill when I encountered a 'pothole', where you get stuck in the enviroment and not even that passing Rex will kill me and grant me mercy. I spend a good 30 minutes killing myself through exhaustion trying to escape, and then spawn in the same area.

I go back to find my body, but it already fell through the map, and I fall off the side of the moutain trying to avoid the same pothole. My high level character is now sitting in another 'pothole', between a rock (no weopons or picks) and the cliffside. I'm going to have to get creative trying to exahust and kill my character once again, but I did take lovely glitch screenshots.

Ragnarok: Needs worked on, please. I beg you. I don't want to sit another hour trying to die, that's the opposite of the Ark experience. You want to NOT die.
