For a newly released simulator, this is pretty well thought out and definitely greatly balanced. I love that there is a visible road map for the game and updated progress for it. Most developers wouldn't even consider letting the general public know where they are at with development.

As for gameplay, it's pretty straight forward. The controls are easy to use and there's hardly a learning curve.

Graphics are good, but could be more optimized. This is early access though, so I'm sure there will be more refined settings in the future.

Excited for what's to come!

Don't let the 4 hours fool you. I streamed playing this game for the first time and was definitely impressed and my viewers were as well. It has everything a story driven game needs. Excellent soundtrack, excellent visuals, excellent story. All of it as engaging as possible.

Is it worth the $20? I would normally say no purely based on the fact that it can be finished in a short period of time and that there isn't anything extra to it. I'm saying yes, it's worth it, because IT IS. You're getting a long ass movie that you get to control, for the price of what a great movie would cost.

Absolutely go get it and play it.

Stressed Out Simulator

I'm the type that says they'll buy madden every other year because they're all basically the same, and then subsequently buys every year anyway.

This year might be different. The game is very obviously the same in many ways as Madden 21. Specifically, what it reminds me of is when madden 21 first came out and the gameplay was more balanced. That's nice and all, but the last 3 maddens were like that and turned out to be terribly unbalanced towards the release of the next game. The mechanics of gameplay haven't changed really, if at all. Face of the Franchise introduces more of a brand management feel, which is new, but I believe should've been combined with the high school and college elements of it's predecessor. MUT is basically the same, although when you start, you have a long sort of tutorial trial you have to go through. Good for first timers, but unnecessary for veterans of the game. All other game modes are identical to last year, so no real need to review those. Good but not refined.

The music is not good.

Some of it is, but Madden has lost the cool element with it's music choice. It used to be a solid variety. Now we're left with only modern rap, and it's not really good either. I think EA really messed up with this aspect. It's something that could be so simply done, yet it seemed like next to no work was done on this, or the game as a whole.

Overall, I give it a 5/10. It's Madden 21 with a face lift. I will however say that with more time and a great amount of tuning by the devs, it could definitely be better.

Viking Minecraft

Besides the long unskippable cut scenes and SUPER long load times, it's still a very enjoyable game with a fairly decent amount of updates and an enjoyable story mode

Runs well on highest graphics, even on a budget pc.

So, when I first played this, it was on the original Xbox. The graphics haven’t obviously changed, but that’s really not what this game is about. For the time period, this was pretty mind blowing, and honestly, it still is. Super underrated game with lots to do and a good companion to the first game. If you’re a fan of the first game, this one will absolutely not disappoint.

This sim is honestly pretty addicting. If you're familiar with the American Southwest, you'll enjoy it. Lots of detail, always something to do, and so very relaxing.
