Great game for a few rounds. Controller support is flawless and game is really fun.

Hoping that more round variation is added, as currently there are only 5 (plus a boss fight). Doubling this would make each round feel more unique. I also think the boss fight could be a bit more engaging in how it transitions from PVE to PVP.

TL:DR - If you like the classic COD style of shooter, you'll enjoy this game.

The game has been relaunched under a different developer. I've played this game under both developers. New Dev's seem to be putting in a decent amount of work to keep the game fresh.

PROS:
Easy to learn and play.
Guns are reasonably priced, reasonably balanced and always accessible.
Starter package/promotion gives you plenty of currency to purchase guns.
Developer has got the gun range working so you can test all weapons before buying.
Developer has re-balanced the guns (e.g. Vector used to have atrocious recoil)
Maps that are available are generally good.
Developer has actually got ranked working

NEUTRALS:
Battle pass - Generally not a fan of this mechanic but the Devs have to make money. It's reasonably priced if you're into that sort of thing.
Small player base - Great if you like to recognise the people you play with, bad if they always beat you. Enough people to have multiple lobbies.
Battle Royale - Please no

CONS:
Still a small map pool. Devs have added a new map (Rust) which shows promise.
Still only 1 map for Front-Line. This desperately needs a second and third map.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Bolt action snipers have been heavily nerfed in this iteration. Slow scoping, heavy flinching and scopes don't zoom in centrally to the location you are aiming at. Quickscopers can easily become very annoying, but it feels that this is too far in the other direction. IMO the scope speed and flinching is enough to combat this, as the TTK is very low already. I think the bolt actions should scope in centrally.

Attachments - Non-scope attachments are very limited and do little to impact gameplay. Would be nice to see more of these, perhaps a stock, foregrip, fire-rate modifier, and for them to have more significant stat changes.

Scopes - Contrary to attachments, scopes are quite diverse but seem to overlap in usage.
Scopes such as the M5 and SR3 don't really have much of a difference compared to the red dot, other than reduced visibility. Not really a gripe, but I'd rather see this diversity in the tuning attachments.

Recommendation: You need this in your Library

As many others have said, the game plays much like a classic COD game. The gun-play is very solid and killstreaks feel strong, but not overbearing.

Pros:
  • Wide variety of weapons, killstreaks, equipment.
  • A COD style perk system
  • Well designed maps (many have interactive elements that change the pace of a game)
  • A lot of free giveaways, free steam pack and on their website
  • Not a lot of hackers (people tend to aim around corners so you have to be prepared to die if you blindly run)
  • Easy to pick up and play
  • NOT PAY-TO-WIN

Cons:
  • Guns can take a while to unlock
  • Some modes only have 1 map (Front-Line and Capture the Flag)
  • Netcode can be a little bad, so occasionally you'll die around a corner

Suggestions for Devs:
More maps should be available for at least capture the flag. Whilst Front-Line would require a whole new map due to the scale of the mode, many of the existing maps would be suitable for CTF.

Some attachments don't add a worthwhile amount of stats (e.g. barrels add +1 range) and could benefit from some adjustment.

Some objective modes don't give enough points for completing the objective. For example Resource Takeover only gives +1 point for capturing the Trinitium which is usually a suicide mission. Pushing this to +10 would be a huge improvement.

Although I've enjoyed the time I've spent on this game so far, the lack of content (and the fact that it's locked behind a paywall) stops me from recommending it to anyone else.

Biggest issues with the game:
* Lack of items to add into your house - This includes Furniture, Decoration items, Wall coverings, Paints and Carpets. I'm hoping that an update will add in these a slightly larger variety however with HGTV and House Flipped City on the horizon it's likely this will be another paywall.
* Horizontal painting. Currently in the game, you can only paint, or wallpaper, in vertical strips. This means if you wanted a two-tone wall you have to go the zebra route and makes stripes everywhere. It doesn't seem like much of a stretch to be able to paint the bottom 3rd of a wall in a different colour, or add a strip of wallpaper around as an accent.
* Destroying walls doesn't always create you a new "register" as a new room. A few times I've knocked out a wall, added a light switch, only to find that it won't work with the lights in the room.
* Due to the nature of playing the game from a first person perspective, it's quite hard to check that you've lined up your items correctly. This becomes and issue with certain items, such as doors, which can only be placed once.
* Windows can't be changed
* Houses that are sold are effectively lost. If you find a house layout you like, but have multiple ideas of how you would like to decorate it, tough. Once you sell that house to a client, you've lost it. I'm hoping that as I continue to flip houses more will be added back to my listing, but I'm not hopeful.
* Ugly and random garden bushes that cost £11.50 to remove.
* Lights go out when you change rooms.... I have the processing power just let me change this.
* THEY HAVE MODELS FOR ITEMS WHICH YOU CAN'T BUY FOR YOUR OWN HOUSE (TOASTER)

Overall, I'll get my money out of the game, but honestly, don't waste your time. Wait for House Flipper City to come out and pray that it's better managed than this.

The game is great fun. You can hop in the game for 5 mins, have a great time and then jump to another game. It's not going to win any awards but its certainly played worse games that cost me money.

Pro's:
Can run on my microwave
It's fast and fun
Learning curve of 0
Shotguns are OP

Con's:
Servers aren't great
Spawn protection isn't obvious

Loaded into an altis life server, immediately taken hostage, had my legs broken and dumped without a map by the coast. Crawled for 2 hours to reach a town; no shops.
Managed to reach a real town - Ran over by the police.

10/10 would get shot again

The engine may work for a survival game, but for a multiplayer fps it was just attrocious. Felt as if I has 200 ping and V-Sync on when I was on 30 ping and V-Sync was off.
