Played just 4 levels so far and already can tell this is a banger

The added 3rd dimension isnt just a 3d rerun of the same original Cryptark, but rather the game genuinely uses and takes advantage of the verticality of its maps.

None of the bugs or jankiness from the original game either.

Just overall a genuine solid improvement and expansion on the already great starting concept of Cryptark.

Edit: Played a full campaign, and this still holds. This game feels more dynamic, more immersive, and a higher skill ceiling than the first game.

Civ 5 and a half: Beyond my Patience

This game is Beyond (Earth) a shadow of a doubt, one of the worst games to ever be sold by a major company. There is No part of this game that contains even the slightest layer of complexity or entertainment value.

This game is not easy nor is it difficult, except for the fact that it is difficult to even come Close to the 200 turn mark without wondering whether you would rather watch paint dry.

The entire game seems hand-designed to repel your attention rather than hold it. The scenery is bland and meaningless. Every single game mechanic is stripped down into the most Basic level of complexity ("Do you want 1 sploinky resource or 2 goopy resources?")

This game is the equivalent of watching TV static dance around a screen for 500 turns and then pretending that it meant something.

Physics engine has several issues that make the game approach unplayable, especially when coupled with the almost pixel perfect nature of certain game elements

Entertaining gameplay, however the lack of an online co-op is extremely disappointing and feels very lazy from the developers. Lone programmers have created multiplayer mods for games like Nuclear Throne, so I feel like their claim that an online co-op was too difficult for their one-programmer team is a poor excuse, considering they are a professional team rather than a fan coding in their spare time.

Good game. A little buggy and lacking, but fun.

Awesome Game, very fun and in depth. Also gives free trading cards. Yay!
