Edit: After thinking about it one more time I've decided to give the game a positive review. For clarity reasons I will keep my og review, however the game has lots of positive things not mentioned that changed my mind.

It's a good game - read on why I still chose not to recommend it.

While I did enjoy the journey of SH2, there were several things annoying me. I do want to mention that I enjoyed playing through the game but have zero interest of playing it again.

1. Bad optimization: The game has lots of stuttering issues and lags which sometimes are annoying and kill the omnious vibe the game tries to show off. The game never crashed on me and it's totally playable it's just super annoying.

2. The game was released not even a year ago but somehow looks/feels outdated. I don't know how to explain it but I was expecting more "work" for such a legendary game.

3. I do not enjoy having to play through the WHOLE game (first playthrough was about 15hrs.) to get all the endings, there are, in fact, 8! different ones.

4. The story is not fully understandable. While I understand that part is what many fans like about the game I would have appreciated a few more details about what's going on. Personally I'm not a fan of having to go through the game 10 times in order to finally understand what it's about.

I know it's all about symbolism and stuff, but sometimes I feel things need to be said in order to achieve their desired effect. If you have to look up all the meanings afterwards I believe you failed to actually convey the story.

Important note: The story of SH2 is great with all its different aspects. But it's super easy to miss MOST of it because the game refuses to really show/talk about it for once.

5. Game takes A LOT of build up time for anything to actually happen. At least 3hrs are just spent pressing forward.

Obviously I only mentioned the "bad" parts of the game to explain my negative review. The game has many many great aspects that truly make it a good game.

I wouldn't pay full price, if you get a good discount and are generally interested in games like Resident Evil you won't be disappointed.

Legendary remake - they really took the challenge and made it awesome.

+++ SPOILERS AHEAD +++

CONS:
- Not enough Bitores Mendez
- Not enough Saddler
- Ashley constantly moaning like she's more than just out of breath ??
- Ashleys Hair
- No Krauser knife cheese
- Everything that comes out of Ashley's mouth
- Ada's Voice Actress and she's just not as badass as in RE4 (2005)
- No U3 (bruh moment)
- Can't just shoot Ashley (yes she deserves it for the 2005 version)
- Can't trigger Luis to kill you in the cabin
- Ashley has no HP Bar, idk just felt really "easy" without her having a real HP bar
- Castle felt a bit rushed
- Can't kill Merchant
- No giga funny laser room - yes I like QTE's
- can't shoot doggo (why would u wanna do that anyway)

PROS:
Everything else, it's a great game go and buy it. So beautiful.

So after playing through the game twice and seeing all that R3make has to offer I've come across some things to mention.

#NotmyJillValentine
#NotmyJillValentine
#NotmyJillValentine

First off, credits where credits are due:
- The Opening Live intro cinematic is phenomenal! Seeing this while being hyped about the game really gets you in a great mood but also immediately raises the expectations you have for the game.
Meaning: Sadly you'll be kind of let down afterwards.

- The way unlockables like infinite Weapons are earned is amazingly executed and feels like the most satisfying reward system any RE has ever had. Thanks for giving me a way to get my overpowered weapons before having to speedrun the game on the hardest diffulty. Adds a lot of fun to the game overall.

- Also gotta give props to the dialogue/voice acting thoughout the game. Every Resident Evil suffers from the same cringe, dumb and ridiculous over the top self-confidence dialogue and I'm very happy to say that this one reduced it A LOT.
So this Category was way better handled than in the RE2Remake last year.
Overall I really enjoyed the Voice actors I truly think they did a great job here.

Is it a good game? Well definitely.
Is it a good Remake? Not in the slightest.

For me personally seeing things from the original being cut didn't have too much effect on me since I've never played the original RE3. I have seen multiple playthroughs though so I'm familiar with the old game.
Overall I don't see any dumb changes when it comes to the Story, however "killing" Nicholai or leaving him to die after the missile is about to hit RC doesn't really make sense considering he's still very alive and kicking in RE:ORC. But it's like whatever .

Now to the bad part.

- Clearly what this Remake lacks is content. I really do think that it's a great and fun game overall but it sure does suffer from the lack of content. Even while playing it for the very first time (started on Hardcore) I've felt like things were rushed for no reason. From the beginning where Sh*t went down in like about 5 minutes (yes Jill was asleep but still) up to the point where Jill gets infected by the Nemesis and just lays bleeding and unconcious on the cold ground for almsot a Day? What? Every sane Person would have died right there on the Spot that really was immersion breaking for me .

- But the biggest flaw of this game is that I genuinely felt like the Devs didn't play/know the OG RE3 all too well. Many things were changed for no reason like Brad not being killed by the Nemesis. I think that scene was iconic! I mean yea he already got introduced in the first 5 minutes but seeing him kill Brad like he did in the original game would have been astonishing for me!
Many things were simply cut like the Gravedigger (Worm) or RE's famous puzzles (which many agree on RE3 having the most difficult puzzles in the whole Franchise).

- Another point that really bugs me is Resident Evil: Resistance. While it is indeed a fun and interesting Game set in RE universe it simply doesnt justify RE3 being this short and having a price tag of 60€.
Also what's important for me here is: The original RE3 introduced everyone to the famous 'Mercenaries' mode which many fans of the Franchise loved over the past decades being in many RE titles. Clearly fans stated that they'd wished for it's return for this Remake but instead we got RE:sistance which nobody really asked for.
Sadly feels like the Devs don't care about what their fans and supporters really want... :(
You cannot even by RE3 and RE:sistance seperately. That's just the most greedy thing for me. Even if I Like Resistance.

- When it comes to graphical design yes it is a little bit of a downgrade when compared to RE2 (2019) but due to this game being way faster paced and way more action oriented (which I don't mind at all because it makes sense with the whole Nemesis thing going on) it didn't really bother me at all especially because the things that are mainly focused are still top notch.

Those are just a few points why - even if I really want to - cannot give this game a thumbs up. However, If I were to give this game a rating out of 10, it would be a solid 7/10 for me.

***Obviously the Review only counts for RE3 and not for its included game RE:Resistance***

Oh boy, here we go.
So, I was more than just excited about the game since back in '98 i was too young to play the OG.
This remake is incredibly well done and makes so much fun playing it's basically a must-have Horror survival game.

I did preorder the game but i didnt get the Deluxe edition nor any of the DLC's

For my review i will simply point out some things I really liked and appreciated about the game and some things that I personally didnt like and/or hoped that Capcom would change it/do it differently
Overall I can already say it's an awesome game both gameplay and asthetical wise and I salut Capcom for what they have given us with this 'new' Experience but I'm also happy that Capcom showed what they are still capable of after watching them fall deeper and deeper as the Resident Evil saga went on.

The GOOD:
- Awesome work in details like the damage marks after being bitten/attacked, the facial expressions depending on your health, small details in all the objects placed in the RPD and other levels.
Overall the Graphics look sooooo good it was pure eye candy playing this game

- All the characters look like they should. For me the 'new' younger Leon and Claire really fit well and I can definitely see their older more established looks in their younger faces. Also counts for Sherry, Ada, Birkin, Annette

- Story is pretty easy to follow and kept me intersted all the time. Just like games should. I am a Story fanatic so good stories are what I'm here for. Especially if it's filled with Drama, tragedy and overall emotionally filled.

- Extra modes like Ghost surivivors and 4th Survivor are unlockable and not bought via DLC, that's a great deal and I appreciate that a lot, thx Capcom!

- Fantastic Gameplay mechanics, overall playing the game just feels really satisfying.

The BAD:
- For me the cheese and over self confident Dialog that many Resident Evil games contain just dont fit into this serious and scary horror setting our protagonist(s) are set it.
For Example Claire voluntarily wanting to fight G3 Birkin without being scared in the slightest and overconfident saying "i got this" like all she does is help bring in the groceries feels really weird and definitely doesnt fit her Character arc. Shes a college student who yea, is Chris' Sister but still had never experienced anything like this at all. I also can't pretend like it's supposed to be character delevopment because after fighting Birkin twice already and seeing him still come back even bigger and stronger i'd be like ♥♥♥♥ that and let Annette take care of it while i get the hell outta there - ♥♥♥♥♥ bye

- Hiding unlockables behind DLC's instead of making them acutally unlockable by beating the game on Hardcore, speedrunning, no health item taken or something like that is really whack. I mean ever since the first RE this franchise was known for its unlockables after beating the game several times. Don't get me wrong there are a few unlockables for doing it on Hardcore for example. I can live with a few out of place costumes being DLC but sadly most of it comes as extra DLCs, just think about the 2000's where DLCs simply didnt exist at all, good times.

- Continuity errors when it comes to A and B scenarios. I don't have to point it out that much since it's been butchered already but yea, the lack of continuity and difference between Claire and Leons scenarios are a big bummer and really feel sooo awkward if you like me play A and B at the same time and realize it doesnt make any sense since so many things happen at the same time but differently and the only way that can be is because it's an alternate dimension. Bummer dude.

The UGLY:
OG's soundtrack swap option locked behind Deluxe edition same goes for '98 costumes. Boooo.

Rating this sweet treat a solid 9/10

The Evil Within 2 is a sequel to TEW in which you play as the well-known Sebastian Castellanos trying to find his daughter who was thought to be dead. Once again Sebastian has to enter a world called STEM and obviously it's not as peaceful there as he hopes it is. This game is a survival horror with more focus on the survival/action than horror

PROS:
+ Open world (even though i dont like open world games, it was fun!)
+ gameplay
+ graphics
+ Story: Story was better and more relatable/understandable than in the first game

CONS:
- open world: I can understand why they made this game open world, but i think the game suffered more from it and would have been better if it played like the first part.
- in order to fully understand the beginning of the game, DLC's of the first game must be played

TEW2 was very entertaining and even though the open world aspect isn't my favourite it still made a Lot of fun.
Definitely worth to get (but maybe wait for discount)

Been playing the game for quite some time now.
I also played during the closed BETA of the game.
So far, I've really enjoyed playing it.
It's MUCH more fun if you play with people who have mics or with your friends (if you have some)
The Game is a really good hide and seek game based on the F13 films - and the creator really gave a LOT love to it while designing the game.
Below I just list some pros and cons for your buy decision - based on what I've experienced so far

PROS:
+ GREAT atmosphere (includes art, style, music,...)
+ different ways to survive (as counselor); not only one. You either stay alive for 20 minutes, fix the car, fix a boat, or call the police and escape with them.
+ ingame VC has great quality
+ 10 different characters to choose from ; 6 different Jasons
+ perk system (would love to see more things like that being added to the game)
+ no dlcs (so far)
+ very active devs (following their twitter)

CONS:
- glitches (mostly won't affect gameplay)
- Jasons grab range
- achievements broken (some work, some don't)
- price
- only one game mode

Personally this game is really fun and I've been waiting for this game. I really love slasher movies and this game is kind of a dream came true. I know a lot of people are already giving the game negative reviews after 2 days. Serves are almost fixed, please ignore reviews saying "game doesn't work" - it's not true (anymore).

First of all I was so hyped when I heard about the game. Couldn't believe they are really doing another Resident Evil. But what I expected was a good third person RE connected to the storyline (No RE6 shooter bullsh it).
However what I got was a game called RE7, a good game but without any prequels.

My review will heavily base on my own opinion from what I was expecting to get.

PROS:
+ great Atmosphere (pretty scary)
+ they brought back the old design of RE, that means there are puzzles (not very hard tho), you're struggling with item management and the good old "safe room" feeling is in the game.
+ game makes a lot fun to play - I really enjoyed playing this game
+ awesome epilogue
+ 2 different endings

CONS:
- Bad Story overall (no connection to the main story of RE); There may be more explanations to the story in the dlc tapes but I won't count that since it's not part of the main game
- first person
- no connection to the main game at all (it's a different game). The Umbrella sign and a really weird version of Chris Redfield do appear but that was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to be honest.
- Only 2 types of enemies: The Bakers and some other type of monsters (excluding the bugs)
- no Zombies
- DLC'S (seriously capcom ♥♥♥♥ off adding a 30€ Season pass to a full 50€ game)
- short game
- i need to add the Story part again because the story is very shallow
- When the boat part starts the game really gets bad
- F.E.A.R. ripoff
- WORST END BOSS EVER!!!! (the ending overall was very disappointing); All you do is shoot at the boss, not moving, not healing, NOTHING.
- No Jill

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed playing this game it's not bad. Capcom did put some nice effort into the game which i appreciate. It's just not a Resident Evil game which really disappointed me. My expectation from a triple A game was higher, yet capcom once again let me down.
However, the free DLC (not a hero) is pretty good

Pretty much the Hunger games. 15 People on an island trying to find / craft weapons, bows, guns, explosives and more to kill the other contestands. You can play solo or duo with a friend.
Really fun game if you're into killing other people.
