So for all the negative reviews that people see before they install this game. The first thing I would like to scream and shout is, READ THE TUTORIAL! No seriously if you read the tutorial which is no more than 3 feet away from where you spawn you WILL learn the basics of Face of Mankind.

For those who don't know what the original FoM was, or was this iteration of the original game is about. This is an MMO sandbox experience that is completely player driven. In other words after the tutorial, there really aren't anymore quest chains, its up to you as the player to decide what to do. The skill system is very reminiscent of Eve Online where you can que skills while you're offline. Beyond that the game is really up to YOU to decide! DO NOT expect to have predetermined outcomes in ANYTHING in this game.

My next warning for people who want to try this game is when you leave the starting zone, expect to die. Even if you decide to join one of the many player made factions, you will die. A lot. Ive logged more than 50 hours and nothing is more frustrating than losing mats or schematics that I've been gathering for an hour, but to me that only motivated me more and I think now that I've progressed pretty far I'd say this game has one of the most satisfying reward systems in terms of what it is you want to do.
