So, I'm a huge One Piece fan. I surprisingly had a lot of fun for the most part (considering everyone was saying how bad the game was), but I have to admit that the game has its flaws.

The combat can get repetitive; you start with basic attacks and everything seems fine. But once you reach a mid-game chapter (I want to say 7?) new "power upped" enemies appear in place of the basic ones and they're awfully strong. You will have a hard time for a while, until you gain more skill points and craft better equipment (which is actually just one to three "accessories" with the correct passive skill).

Then the game gets pretty easy again. You start getting all the abilities, and you just kind of plow through the game on autopilot.

The story is a little uninspired, it felt like a mash up of a few existing One Piece arcs, but overall it was okay.

There's only a handful of enemy types and they just "power up" through the game with different colors so that can get boring.

The snipers are the most annoying thing ever created in any game ever (they instantly shoot you out of the air while rocketing around, especially in the main city).

I only wish the crew had more involvement in the story, you only do a couple of side missions for each member, but you never actually "fight" with them (which happens with other, non-crew characters) and all they're good for is super limited crafting (Franky and Usopp) and sending them to look for stuff through Sanji with lunchboxes (the better the lunchbox is, the longer they take and the better the loot is), but you cannot send more than one at a time. The other characters are pretty useless.

I believe this could have been miles better, but at the same time I don't feel like I've wasted my time or money.

This isn't exactly your run of the mill videogame, it's more of an experience. Everything about it (except the combat I guess) will amaze you. The voices, the facial mocap, the ambience, it's really, really great.

Relaxing music, ingenious puzzles, decent story. Controls might be a bit difficult to get used to at mid-late game but overall a pretty solid game.

A decent game albeit a bit on the short side I suppose. The game is very linear (there's only one optional side quest) but the story isn't bad.

It's a completetly normal free-to-play "browser-game"-like game. It's slow, and there's micro transactions if you want to go faster. It doesn't really have much in common with the other Total War titles, but it's still a decent game. So if you're familiar with browser games and like them, go ahead, if you're expecting a f2p total war game with full scale battles and all that jazz, get Rome or whatever

Extremely fun Tower Defense game with a little twist (you can control your turrets and drive tanks/fly planes).

Extremely awkward and cheesy dialogues/voice acting and a b-movie tier story, but still enjoyable for what it is eventhough the puzzles don't make much sense at times (i.e. hidden object minigames that ask you to find 20 items such as fishes, bottles and a doll to magically "craft" scissors)

Addicting as hell.

There's dozens of heroes to play, and each of them has lots of interaction with the other heroes (Deadpool being the best one probably), which is really neat if you know the Marvel universe, unfortunately though there isn't really much content, you basically just level up heroes to the cap and/or farm instances over and over to get rare loot (wait, that's basically what this genre is about...).
They try to distract you throwing events at your face every other week (there's like 4 or 5 that keep rotating), and add new batches of heroes every couple months, which can be nice.
Being F2P you don't have access to everything right away, the content is free for all but to get new heroes you have to play a lot and get these "coins" that allows you to get new heroes. You can get a new one every week or so if you play about 2-3 hours a day. Inventory space is very limited and shared between all your heroes (it will drive you insane after a while).
Also bugs. Not really game-breaking, but they're there, and they're plenty.

Overall, you can play as a naughty psylocke so 10/10

As always the initial hype will ruin the actual game experience, but it was still an enjoyable game. Really liked the whole dystopian setting but the story barely explains anything (it barely explains the main plot even) unless you go and read the extra collectibles throughout the game.
Gameplay is okay, they wanted the fighting to be like Batman but it feels a bit clunky and not as freeflowing. Apart from fighting, it's mostly linear traveling, with a lot of unskippable "cutscene dialogue" you can't skip (and will stop you from running, literally).

Still, it's a cool game, worth buying when on a sale
