Rusted Moss catapulted (slingshotted?) itself to one of my favorite games ever. It tells a quiet and engaging story thats found in ways familiar to Fromsoft fans, has gameplay that I haven't seen anywhere that gives you simple tools that are complex to master... and has absolutely stunning visuals and music that pops into my head regularly.

To the dev team, so much love and support. Whether you make a sequel, a different game, or move on to new interests, It's been a wonderful experience, that taught me some things about myself. Thank you!

I have no idea what these negative reviews are on about, this game is hella fun for a free game if you hike up your britches and don't expect AAA out of a free game from a new dev. It's STALKER meets Tarkov with open hostility between two factions anywhere on the map except trade hubs. The combat is good, I don't feel overly limited by gun handling. There's an indicator telling you how many players are nearby so you don't have to be constantly on edge. Ammo is dirt cheap and you don't lose guns on death. The AI fight fair, you just typically fight multiple of them at once and guess what, that's theCLASSIC s.t.a.l.k.e.r. experience. You'll learn to work with it.

Treat it like a game, not a job, and you'll have fun. Stop worrying and love the bong.

*edit* The below issues still occurred, but me and my friend group were able to play some missions. The game is very fun and not boringly easy, but the instability stays an issue. I did not refund the product in the end, but if you are interested in this game be aware that you may need to make many attempts at missions to play them through without being disconnected

===Review pertains to VR use only===
Be careful with your first 2 hours of this game, because you may need to refund it.
I personally am repeatedly and frequently disconnected from games with friends or even the tutorial due to "lost connection" with a perfectly stable internet connection and I suspect that Uplay is to blame.
Some friends of mine on index could barely launch the game on index, which stands to reason as for me *Oculus Rift S user* the game does not launch with steam VR but is forced to launch in a separate app via oculus, and as such Advanced OVR and other steam VR features are unavailable. I am very close to refunding this game and if our next attempt at playing this game together fails I will most likely do so.

This game is beautiful on so many facets. Hollow knight embodies what modern "metroidvania" games strive to be, as it rewards (while passively suggesting) exploration as new tools and paths open in a way that feels natural to the player's growth. The setting is a world brimming with personality and depth, where most lore is received from via experience and deduction rather than direct explanation.
The gameplay is somewhat simple and easy (with exceptions) for a game of this caliber, but this does not make Hollow Knight any less of a 'must-experience' for fans of story-rich game experiences.

I'm not qualified to recommend the Halo series to anyone who has never played one.
But if you have good memories of the series on Xbox, this feels like a time machine.

TC: Rainbow 6 Siege is a lovely First Person Shooter that finds a PHENOMENAL blend of hardline FPS skill, with creative 'obstruction removal'. Whether you are playing competitively or casually, fans of most FPS genre's can find a playstyle they enjoy. Whether this entails holding slim sightlines and executing enemies with simple but effective aiming, or playing counter-intuitively to get the drop on unsuspecting foes, any player can prosper and enjoy themselves. Certain maps have their issues, but these are (ostensibly) being worked on by the development team. The developers also have a healthy method of monitoring the balance of all operators, and most changes made to operators are valid and balancing, at least to those who understand the core concept and role of the operators.

The most vocal part of the community is, as anyone will tell you, very toxic. While this alone is not a big issue, the developers have taken a questionable approach to toxic behavior, especially in chat.
==> Multiple-offense teamkillers are given no long term punishments, and people who routinely quit games seem to never recieve any consequences for their actions. These are the actions that significantly affect gameplay, which cannot be ignored, and yet the punishments are lacking.
==> Overly toxic behavior in chat will result in temporary bans, and using certain slurs will automatically see you banned for an hour or so (questionably harsh but still considerably defensible). These bans can become permanent however. This raises the question of why a player should be banned from playing the game *at all* (yes including the single player mode) for something that can be handled by the other players in the match... or by chat-banning the offender as most games would.
==> There is a report button. But this function is reserved for toxic behavior only. The developers (or perhaps ubisoft) is more concerned with stopping "toxicity" than it is with stopping hackers, exploiters, non-team-players, etc.

TL;DR: Good game for any kind of FPS player. Just consider unbinding your chat keys and muting all enemies.
