Writing this review because the top review saying this does not work on steam deck is so incorrect and actively scaring away people from a really good metroidvania game. Yes you have to use Ubisoft's god awful connect and yes it sucks, but you can link your steam account to a ubisoft connect account through your desktop or whatever and once you have it linked you will NEVER have to login again, it is a 1 and done permanently for all ubisoft games across your entire steam library until the end of time. The game runs perfect on steam deck with 0 issues, scaring people away because you need to take 5 minutes to link an account is mind boggling to me.

tldr: login/link steam 1 TIME EVER THROUGH UBISOFT = NEVER LOGIN AGAIN EVER FOR THE REST OF TIME FOR ANY UBISOFT GAME EVER

Was on the fence about it, played all souls games and like them. This is a notch lower on difficulty but infinitely more fun. Super cool bosses love it so far. Very very very good

Garbage disconnected DLC, lazy areas of just insufferably boring and annoying enemies that fly into corners and spam abilities. Severe drop from the main game which was more balanced and quality

Infinitely better than the 1st one, the first game constantly made me feel like I was missing something or not doing anything correctly because the town deteriorated. They learned their lesson and now the game is much more free and just a solid metroidvania. Very good

Incredibly lazy design the later you get in the game. You fight the same 3 bosses on rotation, I could write 100 pages of what's wrong with it. If you have played a decent metroidvania, this game plays like someone was described something like hollow knight but never played it and did their best to mimic something similar. You get 1 shot at the end of the game, even as a tank 2H vanguard im getting 2 shot with super high defense. There's 1 shot mechanics and the game forces you to RNG landing or trying to find the next platform forcing you to die a TON. The fall damage in this game is a joke, you will fall a foot and die instantly, just blows my mind as almost every metroidvania has no fall damage or mitigates it. Bizarre game

Absolutely solid metroidvania, I prefer the original slightly which I think is highly underrated. Not sure where the hype came for this game as the series has been relatively niche, but I would highly recommend picking up the first one as well.

Game is a solid idler - the prestige tree makes sense and lets you customize depending on how you want to play. Making a review to dissuade you from the eggheads complaining about the idling game being slow and grindy. I wonder if they actually read what they typed before sending in a negative review. There's some bugs when using 1x vs Max buy on the pegs and buckets but nothing abhorrent. For the price it's great and would say it's definitely a worthwhile idler.
