Edit: You can now disable TAA. Naturally, performance degrades when DLSS is off so you lose some frames. It also introduces tons of shimmering but I'll take that over smearing and ghosting. Imo the game still needs more optimization and polish tho.

Besides that, the gameplay is chaotic, fast and relatively precise. Outaiming and fragging feel very satisfying and traversing can feel pretty good once you get the hang of it. I want to mention that some things feel a bit buggy/rough. Besides that, I'm usually having a good time just playing Power Shift or Bank It for some mindless fragging or f*cking around. Destruction is top notch for a MP game and the Mirror's Edge esque artstyle is pretty.

I don't think this game can (or should) be a proper esport in its current state as the competitive mode has too many variables and the buggy/unpolished aspects can affect the outcome of a match. Looking at all these other flawed games having competitive scenes, I'm also thinking: "why the heck not?"

I've changed the review to a positive rating because the devs fixed some major annoyances. It's great that TAA isn't forced anymore and it's even better that visual recoil was GREATLY reduced.

So the only things I'm really wishing for are:
- More optimization
- More polish/bug fixing
- Better balancing
- The 2 latest maps being added to power shift 😭

Could be cool if it wasn't a unoptimized mess with blurry graphics thanks to forced TAA/upscaling which makes aiming in a SHOOTER absolutely ass.

It can still be fun tho. I'm just pissed off because the game runs even worse than before so I can tolerate all the bs in this game even less.
