Dark Souls™: Prepare To Die™ Edition is by far the best non post apocalyptic game I have played.
This game will kick you in the knob and then club you to death. This game asks for no mercy and it shows no mercy.
All of us have had friends that said "I was playing this game and I died like 100 times" In Dark Souls 100 deaths is a understatement. The "tutorial" makes you want to break your pc, and that is apparently considered normal within the Dark Souls community. Contrary to normal RPG's Dark Soul features no quest at all and generally very little explanation in terms of in-game story. Gameplay wise the game is outstanding if you are looking for a real challenge, and if you are coming over to Dark Souls from Skyrim then try not cry too much.
I don't want spoil anything since this game is a piece of art that needs to be experienced.

10/10 Simply brilliant

Early Access Review
Nether is a post apocalyptic, survival, action, horror game. While the horror aspect of it is debatable, I found myself getting jumpscared/terrified many times. But then again I am a 17 year old guy who get's scared by horror movies so don't qoute me on it.

As of now Nether is a lot of fun, I've been playing the game for around 12 hours and one of the things I like the most is that unlike DayZ the infamous walking simulator, loot is way more accessible meaning that you can find a gun, some canned
goods and cash within 20 minutes so you actually stand a chance against the evil nation known as other players.
And while you can get all of those things in a short time you still won't have a unfair chance towards other players unless they are hardcore, where you will know that because they will most likely be wearing military uniforms.
But players aren't the only evil lurking in this post apocalyptic image of Chicago, there are also Nether. Nether's are mutated people which feast on you and other players and dear god they are terrifying at night time. There are many different Nether's and all equally scary, it rages from small crawlers to golem's which are basically a bit slower L4D tank and about same size, and they can all teleport. So the game almost forces you to scavenge gun's and ammunition before taking on the larger Nether's.
There are also a hunger factor in the game and you need to get stock of food by either collecting it in various stores or warehouses, or buying it with in-game money. In the in-game store you can buy anything from melee weapons to armor(only cosmetic). There are however microtransactions in the game but they can only be used to purchase cosmetic stuff like outfits, helmets, armor and flashlights.
The size of the map is quite large but not as big as the DayZ map. However you never feel like you are trapped.
Now a big + for the game is the fact almost every building can be walked into, and that is very good for the immersive point of view.

But with it being a Early Access Game there are bugs, but so far for me the worst thing have been that sometimes you can walk through a table or get temporarily stuck on props. While there are fps problems for some people I have not had any so far and the game runs on a smooth 45-70fps for me. However the severity of bugs obviosuly vary from pc to pc but for me it have been nothing serious.

Now the statistics:

Melee wapons:
-Kitchen Knife(You spawn with one)
-Baseball Bat
-Crowbar
-East Sword
-GRIMM Reaper(Hatchet)
-Battle Axe(viking style)
-Machete
-Bolo Sword
-Katana

Ranged/Primary Weapons:
-Lopes 45-S(UMP for many people)
-MACH-9(MP5)
-Mag DR-15
-RAB-47
-KB-12(Spas 12)
-Cru Z3R-14
-TFC Special

Sidearms:
-Smith and Risley
-HAZ-3(Uzi)
-Warren .50(Desert Eagle)

All items have weight and you have a total carry weight of 50lbs.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a Action Adventure RPG which takes place in the fictional land of Skyrim

You are the dragonborn, a human with a dragons soul destined to stop a powerful evil dragon named Alduin(the world eater)
Now let's get real the plot is very weak and the game is full of bugs where any of them can destroy your safe file which can contain 100+ hours of playing.
Gameplay wise it's mostly this: see something, whip out sword, run up to it, start hitting, ??? profit.

The graphics looks good but if you got a powerful gaming setup i suggest downloading graphics mods which makes the game jaw dropping beautiful.
Again plot wise it isn't very good, but then again a RPG is about creating a character and roaming the world with it and on that note Skyrim delivers. Exploring in this game is so much fun, you actually lose track of time a lot.
I might be a bit harsh regarding the gameplay but it can be really boring at times if you choose a melee focused play style. But if you like magic the game is fun at almost all times.
But what really impressed me was the soundtrack in-game. Whoever composed it is a absolutely genius. Once again Bethesda proves themselfs to be the king of soundtracks (Fallout 3/Fallout New Vegas)

Presentation: 7.5
Graphics: 8.5
Sound: 10.0
Game-play: 8.0
Lasting Appeal: 9.0
Overall Rating: 9.5

While the gameplay can be rather stiff at some points the makes up for it with masive amounts of exploration and a fantastic soundtrack. Simply a must buy.

Arma III is a military sandbox objective based multiplayer game.

Now let's start with the +

-Big maps (about 250 square km)
-Weapon variety anything from pistols to LMG and caliber 50 rifles.
-Loads of armored trucks, helicopters and air planes.
-Character customization. Anything from undershirt to helmets and armor vest.
-Excellent graphics. It looks stunning on ultra.

Now its time for the -

-Horrible FPS(frames per second) which results in multiplayer sometimes becomes a frustrating chore. If you get above 20fps consider yourself lucky.
-There is no introduction to the controls what so ever, and it takes a lot of time to learn all the moves.
-The base player community is sometimes a hellhole to be a part of.
-Moving and dying animations can look awful at times. Especially the dying animation.

Presentation: 2.0
Graphics: 9.0
Sound: 7.0
Game-play: 8.0
Lasting Appeal: 7.5
Overall Rating: 8.0

Now Arma III is a fun fps/third person tactical shooter but it needs a lot more work to be worth the current price of 44.99 euro's.

DarkSiders II is a wonderful action RPG puzzle, hack and slash game and here is why.

While the game starts off pretty weak it proves itself later on.
In DarkSiders II you play as Death himself and you are on a mission to stop true evil from consuming the world. Now the gameplay is excellent but only if you use a controller because the keyboard lags the much needed speed of movement since it is not optimised well and sometimes the camera gets horrible lag which can result in you dying. The game is simply meant to be played with a controller.
Now the gameplay is really fun because as you progress in the main story you level up and the points you get from that can be used to purchase some insanely cool combat moves, you also need to save money for weapons and armor and their maintaining throughout the game.
Story wise its a bit confusing if you havent played the first game but if you pay attention you can actually keep up on the story, and it is really good.
But the biggest + for the game are the bosses, i dont know why it is so awesome to ride towards a boss above 120m tall and slash his legs but it is, it just is.
There is also a huge enemy variety in-game so you dont really get bored in the campaign.
There are a lot of side quest too which can result in you getting a rare weapon or armor drop that looks so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool you wanna shag it.

The only - i have for the game is that sometimes the puzzles are a bit tedious and that the graphics looks really dated in some areas. The overall graphics aren't that nice either.

Presentation: 6.5
Graphics: 6.0
Sound: 7.0
Game-play: 9.0
Lasting Appeal: 8.0
Overall Rating: 7.5

DarkSiders II is a good game but lacks much needed graphics. If it was up to date graphics the game would be so insane to look at especially in the boss fights which are the core of the game.

PAYDAY 2 is a excellent FPS but it does come when it's share of problems.
I wanna start out wit saying that OVERKILL Studios lied their asses off regarding the content avalible in-game. Now while that is a ♥♥♥♥ move i managed to move past that and i liked what i saw. The gun play is satisfying but the aim is poorly optimised when it comes to certain enemies, meaning sometimes bullets won't hit even though you aimed 100% perfectly.
Story wise the game dosen't really have one apart from some small suggestions in the audio log during heist.
Character customisation is actually a lot of fun but it lacks certain features, such as suit colors and more different armors. And the way you design your mask is positively gastly, once you paint it its done and you cant ever change it again, combine that with only 9 mask slot for a 30 mask game and you get a poor layout.
There is also only about 10 different heist even though we were promised 30, and they become dull after some time. And yet i seem ti be addicted to the game.
But the real problem is that the game gets updates a lot and some of those updates breaks the game.(im talking about you update 11)
So unless the xp and cash payout is fixed the game is not worth playing.

While PAYDAY 2 is a good game it makes promises it simply can't keep which in the end ruins a bit of the intended experience.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brilliant!

If i were to choose two words to describe Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon those would be it. If you have seen a lot of cheesy 80-90s movies this is the game for you.
Gameplay wise it plays exactly like Far Cry 3 except for the fact you are a cyborg commando named Rex Power Colt meaning you got some insane boost such as running speed and laser weapens. Now i know this sounds too silly but it's freaking awesome. The weapon variety isn't the biggest but the guns you have can be upgraded into some serious stuff, like a LMG shooting laser rounds or a sniper rifle shooting what i can only assume is small grenades. (yes i'm serious)

Now story wise the game is absolutely hilarious, your mission as a cyborg commando is to destroy missiles destined to turn the world into mindless savages and destroy all kind of civilization, and the evil character behind this is no other than Colonel Sloan one of your older Cyborg friends. But will you be able to stop Sloan and his army of cyborgs and blood dragons?
(I don't want to give anymore away since it is a awesome story.)

Presentation: 11.0 (it was the best intro to a game ever)

Sound: 8.5
Game-play: 10.0
Lasting Appeal: 9.5
Overall Rating: 9.6

Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is a well crafted FPS experience created for maybe a tad older players since it makes fun of the cheesy action movies. Though if you are a fan of those kind of movies you will love this.

Call Of Juarez is a arcade shooter with some of the must fun you can have with shooting in games.
As i played through the game i couldn't help but think the story was a little boring to be honest but when you reach the end you have your jaw dropped. (It was that good)
Now lets look at the specifics, weapon wise that isn't a lot but those few guns there are feels like they really pack a punch and there is something for every player. 2 rifles, 2 shotguns, and about 4 pistols each with its own feel and handeling. The game lasted for me about 4 hours while playing on hard and at no time i was bored, the games pace is rather different than other games but it still manages to keep you on your toes at all times. And a big + for COJ GS is that it comes with newgame + which lets you carry over all skills and guns earned in your other game and it unlocks true west difficulty which is a delight to play in. Besides that the game features arcade challenges when you have to stack up the biggest combo of kills you can.

I'm not kidding when i say this game has the best ending i have seen in 10 years of gaming. It's even better than the ending of my favorite game.

I Am Alive is a survival game which focuses on heavy player choices and immersing the player. While i thought the game was really good and worth the money some may not and here is why:

Dated graphics
Clunky controls
And a buggy camera which sometimes won't move.

But me being a fan of post apocalyptic themes i decided to look past all of this and what i saw was awesome, while not all will like that kind of gameplay i loved it. You are able to bluff enemies with a empty gun but some of them will stop up and say your full of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and encourage others to attack. I thought that was a awesome thing i had not seen before, you also need to switch targets sometimes to keep them afraid of being shot. Another key factor is the extremely rare supplies which you need but you only have 3 retry's or you have to start over. Additional retry's can be aquired by giving away supplies and medicine to people, so that keeps the game tense.
The soundtrack which i found really good is also a indicator for when climbing buildings since the soundtrack becomes more intense as you lose stamina. 0 stamina results in falling down and dying.

Overall i found the game to be really good and worth my money since i played it three times. But keep in mind this is a arcade game so it only last for about 5 hours on average.
