Great game, clunky to play in the beginning, but love it. Especially good with friends.

I really hoped Ark:SA would be the true Unreal Engine 5 upgrade we were promised, but it's just a sad excuse for an ARK remaster, even if it looks a bit prettier. It's truly disappointing slop. From the worse optimization that makes even the day one of ARK:SE days blush to the massively disappointing dlc releases for pay to win called Fantasy Tames that spawn on, or the STUPID choice to use overwolf for cross platform modding which raised it's own issue cause it's overwolf. Now this brings me to the brings me to my biggest or well tied to biggest with p2w dlc is premium mods. Now Support our modders that's what patreon and discords and stuff were for, Good and/or consistent modders got donations maybe not full time job but they did, and people flooded their worlds with them, but we all should know this change was not to support the modders, was not to truly allow cross platform mods but strictly so they can get more money from the donations under the guise of allowing modders to make money off of their work.

Sorry for the rant but I got a little more to get off my chest - Up until now I've always been an ark fanboy and loved wildcard and always knew snail games bad wildcard this sad devs holding back the snail greed, but after asa released I can't say anything like that. Wildcard is just as ♥♥♥♥♥♥, just as horrible as snail games, they've continued to let themselves be bullied by snail and let snail do just about what ever they want, and I can see they've done nothing for asa to stop snail from milking their fanbase dry. I guess all this boils down to is just don't no matter what you see or how much you think youi want to play just get ark se or none of the ark franchise.

Honestly I can't recommend this game, artworks is nice, but that's all I can say, building is basic, leave more to be desired like enshrouded or valheim, combats the worst of this arpg, open world survival craft I've played in awhile.

I should not have expected more from a bigger game company like jagex, and many will say it's in early access to expect to eat garbage, but they're not an indie company, nor is it made in a year or two, game was introduced in 2022 alpha tested late 2024 and droped 1/3 the way through 2025. They've had time to not release this slop before launching.

Overall 4/10

I've spent nearly countless hours into this game all the way back since 2009 and have always continued to play it even after 10 years. This game has some awesome communities and servers. I hope others can find joy in this game as I have.

Awesomenauts is a very fum, fast paced 2d moba. Honestly if you made league of legends for children, but all ages could play it. Then this is your game.
