Early Access Review
A very interesting and well-made game that has a striking artstyle (for both the reasons you'd think and because it's just well-made. Come on now, I can be honest), and a very thrilling combat system. Unlike many MMO-styled RPGs, this game has a heavy emphasis on action-RPG elements and is the first time I saw a game in this vein have an entire class who can invest in movement mechanics like some sorta big-tittied furry Super Mario 64 RPG.

Even if you don't stick around, at the time of writing this, it's 10$ and well worth your time and to support Kiseff.

There is no meme, buy this game. NOW.

At the time I'm writing this, I can't honestly recommend this.

Balance in this game is not great at the current level of grind it sits at.
- Assault Rifles reign supreme. At the current level of grind, you will die to a deluge of M4A1s and AK74s, and at any ranges from 5 to 500 meters. At the time of writing this, I have died to more assault rifles at long range than I have sniper rifles.
- Vehicle HP is in a poor spot. Current kit means that while RPGs and explosives exist to attack ground vehicles, there are no weapons with lock-on for the helicopters that currently exist in the game. The helicopters themselves wouldn't benefit from this change either, as the HP pools for either option lead to the littlebird dying instantly to around 15-30 seconds of sustained fire, meanwhile the transport helicopter boasts a large enough pool of HP to shrug off the same punishment, leading to experienced helicopter pilots locking down areas of the map.
- Map design is a mess. Maps are either incredibly cramped or incredibly large with little to no leeway. If you have the misfortune to die and be unable to spawn in a vehicle on some maps, you can easily spend minutes just holding shift as you go from point to point. Every map also has angles upon angles that you need to be aware of, which while it does keep maps from being slogfests of fighting over singluar chokepoints, it leads to dying easily from angles that you either couldn't watch at that moment or dying to angles you frankly didn't think existed, as the maps are not only filled with multistory buildings which have fully modeled interiors, but these buildings are destructable, meaning that holes in their walls can be punched open and you can easily get killed from angles you might not know exist.
-Mechanics need to be nailed down. TTK is through the floor, which under most circumstances would be fine, were it not for the fact that medics are required to heal and you require bandages (which are finite) to stop bleeding if you take damage over a certain threshold. Getting tapped once by certain guns in firefights means you spend time having to hold down 3 to fix the problem. If the game had a slower pace, this could also be excuseable, but the fighting is frantic and this often just means your breakneck fighting gets interrupted by constant periods of hiding and bandaging yourself. Some mechanics like zeroing scopes are also poorly implemented. As of current there are no keybinds to zero your scope by default, and once you fix that, you have to zero your scope again every time you re-enter ADS with applicable scopes.

While gameplay can be fun in moment to moment combat, the outlined issues just make this a slog to play and I can't really recommend this.

After a long time, this game needs to die. Between bots, hackers, and genuine ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who want nothing more than to flex that they have 5K hours in a game that has finally reached the final stages of its lifecycle, you will likely not enjoy yourself any longer. Valve has also lost any interest in updating the game, so please do not indulge their purchases so the game will finally be laid to rest.

Piece of ♥♥♥♥ game requires you to spend money if you don't wanna spend hours grinding for stuff that has become literal necessities to have fun. Singleplayer only has so many things you can do (I've previously done all of it on console by myself and got this to play with friends) and the online experience is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you're better off spending the 30$ on a large pizza from dominos and a soda, because your evening will actually have some semblance of enjoyment because at least then you get what you paid for.
