Combat is pretty repetitive and boring, hard to engage when a VERY basic melee system doesnt even register hits will, especially oncoming ones which work through walls. this alone leaves an immense amount to be desired, the bow system is again, boring and unrewarding, not being able to one shot the most basic enemy or a ubisoft esque camp guard is extremely annoying, and the stealth is somewhat of a joke. the most engaging thing in this game is its decent movement, but also can feel clunky at times. the main redeemer is the story and the worldbuilding, which even that isnt enough to keep me playing, however will possibly do the trick for other people. TLDR: lazily made game not close to worth $60. This review doesnt even go into depth about the bad (INCREDIBLY BASIC) perk system. Worse version of dead island series.

This games melee system is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥, Zombies also seem to have a broken melee system. Otherwise might've been better.
