Fun Mixup to familiar gameplay

This is probably the best co-op game out there.

It has a really nice atmosphere and gameplayloop with a genuinely nice community.
And the best part ist that the developer actually care about the game and feedback.

Can 100% recommend even with full price

Good alternative to Kovaaks. It's more modern and feels overall a bit smoother.

Great game with good gameplay and a really nice mix of different story elements/twists

Love this game. The gameplay is amazing and makes up for the mediocre to bad story.
The mulitplayer gamemodes can also be a lot of fun with friends.

Shadow of mordor was a good game. i played through it really enjoyed it.

Shadow of war did the same thing but better.

Pros:
easy to learn gmae mechanics
a interesting story line with not one but two plot twists! (one major one and one you could've seen coming)
Even better nemesis sytem and orcs that have actual personalities. Also other neat stuff that i don't wan't to spoil since you will experience that while playing the story.
new abilities which you can unlock pretty fast and the new item/gear system.
Maybe if you like big games 40+ ingame time to play (just counting for story)
An online mode were you can compete with other for example let your orc fight another one or just avenge someone or even capture a fortress from another player.
Ran really well even for my budget computer with pretty good graphics (gtx 1050 and ryzen 5 600x and 8 gigs of ram)

Cons:
repetitve orcs: i don't know why but the game likes to throw the same personality of one orc at you and then another one and another one. I cannot understand why because even with my 60 hours of play i saw 1 or 2 new orcs just before the story ended.
A kinda abrupt eding after grinding for a longer time.(still fitting endig thogh)
lootboxes. BUT HOLD UP you don't need to buy them at all. If you enjoy the game you won't have any need to buy them.
So don't get scared off by them.
Some small bugs here and there but not to big or soulcrushing.
Repetitive animations that look cool but can get bland sometimes.


All in all i think they did a great job developing the game and a great sequel to the first one!

this game is awesome!

I played around 28 hours so far and beat the game.
I'm not going to judge the story (which is pretty good from prespective) and more the gamplay

lets start with the few cons:

-controls are sometimes a little off ( not including the fights against orks uruks etc.)
-sometimes sound bugs (only hearing hits and not swinging the sword[parry]/not hearing the armor rattleing and sometimes no music) I experienced that in the end of the game about 3, mabe 4 times.
-soft lock in a mission ( on second mission to save ratbag the game soft locked because i alreaday dominated the captain)

now the pros:

-really good fightingsystem (love the parry and all the abilities you can get!)
-likeable characters
-around 20 hours of playtime if you don't go for 100% and if you like to rush a bit (probably 30 hours of playtime with 100%)
- can be easy but also sometimes hard the missions for the weapons are ok done but the bow is too easy the sword is just right and 2 of the dagger missions are just a tad bit annyoing. Also some captians are really easy to kill and some are just a pain in the arse sometimes(they are beatable but lvling a bit helps a lot)

all in all i really loved this game and i'm just waiting for my new pc to play the second game(which some said would be worse)
this is probably in my top 3 offline games. I loved to play this and I think I'm going to play this again when I'm bored/ have my new pc and this time in english (played it in german and the voice actors did a good job)
