The game being unforgiving is a great concept, but in practice, it's just gambling.
Too many vital things in the game are determined by RNG, and too many things can go wrong.

To put it simply: You're only allowed to have fun if the game lets you. And if it doesn't, there's nothing you can do about it. And the feeling of achievement you'll get from winning, is always tainted by the fact that you only won because you got lucky enough.

If you're wondering why I have so many hours, I just have a gambling addiction B)

There is a lot of things you can do about the RNG, however you really gotta understand the game to a huge extent to get rid of it (example being that the vestal's illumination removes 20 dodge from the enemy.) Also, if you just hate the random dodge mechanics, acc, and all that good stuff, check out DD2. it has no accuracy system aside from blind/dodge tokens
