If you love immersion in story telling with the satisfaction of getting big hits in combat, with the occasional Nat 1 where you just can't help but laugh at your misfortune. This will scratch that itch, really well actually. I guess there is a reason this is being recommended by literally everyone. 48 hours in and just got into Act II, I am already looking forward to the replay and choosing different paths.

I assure those wondering, this is not an "enhanced edition" of the older Lego Star Wars games. It is a brand new take on the Saga that features that classic Lego humor. The amount of detail and added extras in the game has surprised me to the point where I have spent more than an hour exploring Coruscant alone, from the Jedi temple all the way down to the underworld (star wars cyberpunk), doing side quests and collecting collectibles, and I still need to unlock more areas!! Sure, it's a Lego game.. so it's not going to be the most challenging game you will play. The game is definitely laid back and designed to just jump in and have fun, especially with Co-op. Mission challenges are also available for the completionist and to add further difficulty, as well as the high score counter to earn "True Jedi." I still haven't delved into the "Free Roam" part of the game yet either. It's huge. The game will captivate your attention for many unexpected hours, and that’s alright!! If you enjoy Star Wars and Lego, this is a must-have!

The pacing, the visuals, the music, Keanu Reeves, the flow of dialog and animations. Everything is masterfully crafted and I am so glad it turned out as good as it did. Thank you CDPR. Ya' done good, chooms.

We all know what EA brings with games they are associated with. But, we must look past the greedy parent and look at the up and coming star child, the child being Respawn. These guys have done a fantastic Job on bringing the Star Wars universe more life, lore and understanding on missing links in the current Canon. Respawn have proven they can make great Multiplayer (Apex: Legends) and now they have proven themselves to make great Single player. I was not expecting the game play it offered and I loved it! The 'Dark souls' style feel to it, It offers more then just an average 'Hack and Slash game' and requires some 'on the feet thinking'. It has been a real long time since I stuck to a Single player game completing all the unlocks and just wanting to play more. I can guarantee I am going to purchase DLC so i can play even more. If you're a Star Wars fan that loves a challenge and excellent story telling you will need to pick this up and immerse yourself. Also, you can build lightsabers!. - 12/10

problems I’ve encountered so far in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
I really wanted to get into this game, I wanted to waste my entire weekends playing, but. It's boring, plain and simple as that. Apart from the cutscenes which look like it was from a multi-million Dollar action movie.

Without further delay here are:

'Problems I have listed and unfortunately summarizes the complete game of MGSV:TPP.'

1. Credits in-between each mission are silly.

Credits roll after each mission in The Phantom Pain. We are reminded over and over and over again that Hideo Kojima is the genius behind the game’s creation. HEY DID YOU KNOW THIS IS A GAME BY HIDEO KOJIMA???

It’s enormously annoying after a while and there’s a vanity to it that really rubs me the wrong way. I was annoyed when Konami took Kojima’s name off the box-art, but now I wish they’d come in and taken it out of the game, too. Pride cometh before the fall and all that.

2. The “Fulton surface-to-air recovery system” is overused and gimmicky.

This isn’t the first Metal Gear game to use the “Fulton surface-to-air-recovery system”—a balloon device that yanks people and items from the ground and shoots them back to Mother Base via air transport—but it feels more overused here than ever before. Perhaps that’s just my memory playing tricks on me.

It’s funny at first, of course. There’s some great little moments. It would be really cool if you could only use it in certain situations—to grab high value targets, maybe. But in an open world it loses some of its humor and starts to feel really gimmicky. Could it be that I, myself, am simply overusing it? Quite possibly. Still, I’m not sure it adds much to the experience.

3. There are micro-transactions.

While the micro-transactions in The Phantom Pain are geared toward its online components, the “Mother Base” or MB Coins you can purchase to expand your Forward Operating Bases still can be purchased with real-world money. Yes, there are other ways to earn MB Coins and yes they are not necessary to complete or enjoy the game, but they are present.

I just can’t get behind micro-transactions in a video game that already costs at least $59.99.

DLC? Sure. Full-blown expansions? Bring ‘em on. Nickel-and-diming gamers with “Coins” or “Gems”? No thank you. For shame, Konami. For shame.

4. There is no 'Friendly NPC's

Everyone in the open world of Afghanistan is out to kill you. I found this out pretty quick, when I stumbled across an outpost. I thought to myself, I wonder if there is any civilians here. turns out that everyone likes to shoot anything that moves.

I like being surrounded with friendly NPC's, it brings more life to a game. Witcher 3 did an awesome job on the friendly's, it was like they lived an actual life in the game. Sure Afghanistan is a hostile place, but not everyone is bad in the world are they?

5. It gets really repetitive.

"Ok I just took over this outpost after 10 minutes of stealthing in and eliminating enemies, to only get spotted and go guns blazing" *Checks Map* "Oh great another location to do exactly what I just did".

6. David Hayter is still a better Snake than Kiefer Sutherland.

7. It’s basically ‘Far Cry'

I don’t know if this is entirely a problem, but it’s weird. A part of me thinks that the game should be titled Metal Gear Solid V: Far Cry. The gameplay isn’t identical, but it’s awfully similar. You have a big open-world where you go out and take over enemy bases while gathering raw materials to facilitate crafting.
And if we are going by Farcry 2. the enemy's respawn.

the only thing that MGS has going for it, is the Mother Base where you develop new weapons and gear. There’s a whole base management/recruitment system in play and real player's can hack in and still your stuff. Like Watch Dogs.

Sorry to all the MGS fans, but the problems I have listed stop me from having a fun time playing.
Sorry,Not Sorry.
