This is more of a tentative recommendation, given that I wouldn't say it's worth the asking price, but the content on offer is, nonetheless, very good.

The overall gameplay style on offer is very interesting. Gradually open up a gateway into the Void and conduct investigations on the various phenomena and monstrosities that'll crop up as a result. In true RimWorld fashion, there is a good bit of flexibility depending on your moral standing, simply choose to contain, study and harvest the monsters you encounter, or go more esoteric with it, harnessing the phenomena in horrific ways, conduct psychic rituals and reap great benefits towards you and yours at the expense of other people.

The phenomena themselves are also rather interesting and some of them are actually rather unsettling, admittedly, but I don't think there is much I can divulge that wouldn't dip into spoiler territory, and this is a DLC that is best experienced blind.

My one major issue with it is the concern that, even with mods and the latest changes to try and address it that the scope of Anomaly is, much like Royalty, too narrow to really make good use out of in the average non-Anomaly focused playthrough, especially for the asking price. It is, at least, overall much more cohesive and full than Royalty, so if you do go for an Anomaly-focused playthrough, you're bound to get a pretty interesting and tense run.

All in all, a tightly-packed, fun DLC that can prove fun if you're in the right mood, but unfortunately only adds little if you aren't. I do recommend it, but I'd recommend Ideology and Biotech more if you don't have those yet.

Update 3: The region restrictions (at least for the overwhelming majority) have now at long last been abolished, and everyone is now able to buy and play the game. And so, this review will be marked as positive yet again.

We dive together.

Update 2: Sony seems to be cracking down on the region restrictions, so I will unfortunately no longer recommend the game for the moment.

Update: Sony has relented, and the PSN requirement will not be taking effect. So, as promised, this review will be set to positive, as the dealbreaker is no more.

I won’t, however, erase my prior statement, as it is important that we remember what has happened.

Never forget.

Don't get me wrong, the game itself is very, very good, quite possibly one of the best live service games put out in recent memory, and the devs are among one of the few in the high-budget spaces who seem to have any sort of passion for their product.

The absolute major problem, not just for Helldivers 2, but for many other games of its like, is Sony's decision to enforce logging into PSN on PC. While people might argue that it's "just another account", this has much broader consequences beyond that.

The biggest problem with this decision is that it greatly restricts who can not just purchase, but even play the game that they have already paid for, as PSN is not available in some of the poorer regions. Certain people also need to provide personal information (or their phone number) to Sony in order to make a PSN account, which can be a major issue to some people, especially given the sordid, storied information breaches they have had to deal with.

In addition, people have caught that they're going on their word after having announced their intentions to enforce PSN in Helldivers 2, going back and editing their statements of "You won't need PSN to play games on PC" to "Some games may need PSN to be played on PC", which is incredibly dishonest, especially because people in those poorer regions have already bought games like Helldivers 2, and will lose access to them if this goes through.

I'll set this review to positive if Sony relents on this new approach. Otherwise, I strongly urge you to not pick up this product. What Sony is doing is highly immoral, and by no means should be left unchallenged.

We dive together, or not at all.

*Start in the morning*

Aight, let's play some Civ 5!

*Finish a round of the game*

Aight. Done. What is the time?

*notices that it's 11PM*

...Bollocks.
---
Civ 5 is a very fun game. It's a 4x strategy game where you get a Civ based off a country or civ from the real world, like, say, Denmark, Germany, America and many others.

Your goal is to achieve victory. In which way, that's up to you. You could eradicate every other civ off the map, you could befriend everyone, you could get ahead in science and win the space race, just find a victory method you find yourself comfortable with, and stick to it.

If that sounds like your thing, and you have too much time on your hands, feel free to pick it up. Just remember to pick up the bundle, instead of just the Vanilla game. It kinda needs G&K and BNW to be a good game.

If you aren't interested, or you value your time, don't. Please. Don't. Save yourself.

...JUST ONE MORE TURN...

Portal 2.

It's a better version of the original Portal. And it has co-op.

...Who am i kidding, you have probably already heard of it by now. If it interests you, pick it up. I'd just be a broken record.

The absolute greatest in Luftrausing technology.

This game takes place during a war, where the allies haven't exactly deciphered what exactly that superweapon the generic bad guys made.

The weapon in question?

A prototype super plane.

...AND YOU ARE IT'S PILOT.

The gameplay is fantastic. It's very easy to learn, yet difficult to master, due to the stalling system.

Now, what is the stalling system?

Well, when you aren't flying your plane by boosting, you fall. When you are falling, you are able to rotate the plane faster than you would when you are boosting.

Oh, and your plane automatically repairs itself when you aren't shooting. That's something.

The art style is simplistic, yet pretty good. It's sepia retraux. Don't like either? Well, the latter is kinda unfixable, but you can modify the former to various other styles, including my favorite, black and white.

...Which is named ''Distiny'', after an infamous spelling error in a clone's marketing line.

And then there is the soundtrack.

I REALLY like the soundtrack. Especially when flying Smalls. That thing is too good in terms of it's theme.

So, if you like a good ol' arcade plane game, play this game. I recommend it.

DON'T SUPPORT THE CLONES, BTW, JUST LETTING YOU KNOW, BECAUSE VLAMBEER GAMES ARE INFAMOUS FOR GETTING CLONED BY OTHER DEVS

I can't for the life of me recommend this game anymore.

The game itself IS fun, it's essentially an iOS diablo game and dungeon keeper.

Oh, there aren't enough stuff in your castle, PLUNDER OTHERS!

However, this game has a HUGE problem, one that destroys the whole dynamic.

The Infinite Pack.

This pack grants you ALL the newest in defense technology, for very little effort.

What does this mean?

It means the game is Pay 2 Win.

So, please avoid this game. Don't tolerate behaviour like this.

This is Supergiant's second game. You know, the devs of Bastion. Of course it's good.

By themselves, the elements don't really stand out all that well. The Soundtrack's good, the story is alright, the characters are decent, and the gameplay is solid.

What makes this amazing is the fact that those four elements REALLY compliment eachother in a big way. They all play big parts in making this game a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible experience.

Pick it up if you are looking for something different.

This game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ arsehole. And i can't for the life of me stop playing untill i beat it.

The mechanics of this game is pretty solid. The soundtrack is phenomonal. And it's pretty addicting.

It's just that you SHOULD be prepared to get your arse kicked. Because this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SADISTIC.

I'm gonna be frank here.

If 27k and counting positive reviews isn't enough to convince you to buy Undertale, then i don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ know what i can do. Literally anything i can think of has already been said by many others.
