Overall Personal Score (as of now): 9/10 (also writing this exhausted without sleep)

-Personal Notes
Only putting in 14 hours so far, this review will be re-evaluated upon later notice. Currently I feel no where close to being satisifed with the time I have spent in-game.

-Gameplay 9.75/10
Gunplay is a strong suit of this game when compared to the previous two fallout games and removed the need to use VATS as a core gameplay move, for a good portaion of my time I found that I had entirely forgot VATS as a way to fight.(I am playing a gun-based slinger currently but will come back to melee upon a later date) Running and jumping is very similar to how the old games works, some places you can abuse for your benifit although slight buggy just like it has always been. Sneaking is just as effective as before when you know what you're doing, and a majority of the time you can find a way that would have been safer.

-Skills, Perks, and S.P.E.C.I.A.L. 9.5/10
Now instead of having them all be part of a seprate tree, they interact more with each other becoming more impactful per level-up. Now I don't have 1 Agility but can use a sniper rifle perfectly, or hack into a computer with no intellect whatsoever. The whole system is there, and your decisions per level up do matter, Your character is built up the way you want them to be during the early part of the game. (later I suspect it to be less of an issue, again, only 14 hours.)

-The Dialogue + Voicing + Karma (aka how you feel you character acts) 7/10
The weakest part of the game comes in this section, the lack of dialogue choice. You have four options, and sometimes the choices make it feel like you are unsure of how the MC is going to act. I have had several issues with trying to talk with npcs into just talking but then the MC askes to trade, or a conversasion was going to happen but then they just walked away for no reason. Somtimes they talk to you as you are passing by but you don't realise until it's to late.
The voice acting is a step up for some characters, a step down for others. Your MC has an attractive voice, both the male and female options, so it's not grateing to listen to during gameplay and there is emotion in a good chuck of their dialogue. Now segwaying into Karma, it's removal is NOT a bad thing. Some can argue sucessfully that it's lack of involvment is a good thing. I will agree that it's easier to become the MC while playing when I don't have to worry about being some kinda rightous uptight, grey emotionless husk, or evil supervillian, I can just be me moreso than I could in either fallout3 or New Vegas.

-Graphics 8/10
Buggy at times, I love the weather affects, the landscape looks "Colorful" in the sense that it's like Fallout NV's land but without the bright colors you see, unsure how to describe that. Debris and folliage do look both good and awful during the game. My computer is running the game on high yet during playtime sometimes the game detracts from the experiance because of oddly textured areas. an example being the Water Treatment Plant in the area you have to drain water from. The graphics are nice to look at, but the ocassional issue from odd objects or buggy areas really hurts it.

-AI 4.5/10, 5.5/10, 8.5/10 (Various reasons. first is Melee Enemies. Second are Frendly NPC/companions, Third are ranged enemies.)
Melee Enemies are abusable, the hit hard, and tend to either be fast like the ghouls, can dig behind you like mole rats, are are ineffectively slow. You can just hope over a fence as they try to path towards you. It would be a 3/10 if they could bug their way up to you, like floating up the terrain, it's nice they try and run around to catch you.
NPC's use chairs and beds, but sometimes they just float aboce them, they walk away during conversasions, or unable to have any conversasion at all. Companions tend to get in the way sometimes, and the controls/UI makes it a tad difficult to stop comanding them.
8.5. They have great aim, react pretty well by using grenades sometimes around corners as well (most of the time running straight around) They are the heroes that add difficulty. If walking around to get shot at with a random Mini Nuke and falling into a hole with a deathclaw

-The world 9/10
I can always find something to do, the world is littered with hidden story or items as you are playing, the lack of enemies leveling up with you is nice (as far as I know) as you can wander into something a little more difficult than you expected. Nothing feels bland. It's a mix of Fallout 3 and New Vegas. The best part of 'em. 3 I felt it was dark but full, NV felt lively but bland. I don't need quests to have fun

-Settlements and Options 8/10
Building settlements is a fun new thing brought to the table, although it does have strange placment issues such as floating Melons. Pretty diverse especially if you find the blueprints for extra options. The controls are solid on Keyboard/Mouse, Never had an issue mainly because I didn't plug in my controller yet, and it's all easy to learn.

-Last Thoughts
I still have yet to finnish the story so I will have to come back to this review upon a later date, and when I'm more awake. Issues I see people talking about are the complaints that the game didn't live up to the hype, so what neither did Duke Nukem Forever, but at least this game is good and meets my standards of a great game, not perfect, but great. There is more I could talk about, I could expand on all my thoughts, But this game I can currently states is a Better than great game, a 9 out of 10, If only it wasn't buggy at release, where is my refund and better game plox. :P

The game is fun, nice music track that, although repeats on a loop, doesn't tire me all to much. It's a platformer that has started out easy for the time i've put in so far, level editor is nice to have. A nice story as you collect the snapshots, some refrences and solid controls.

I do Have one big grip with that game that kinda broke the mood, When completing a level there is a victory tone that breaks the feeling of the music and setting of the game that if it wasn't there, it would benifit the game all so more.

P.S. Will return while I play the game to add anything new.

Rating: Pending but >5.5/10

Everyone with a first name should play a game such as this, as with friends, or even random people, You will have tons of fun if you enjoy both pvp and just pve.
