This game is useful for scratching my (and your) butterflies-conquer-the-galaxy itch. It's an important itch that needs scratching.

At nearly 1400 hours of play time, this game may very well hold my record for most-played game ever. This game MUST be played with both expansion packs to enjoy the full experience. If you've never played a 4X or Civilization game before, this game is a great entry-level candidate and the perfect way to waste time.
