Thumbs up for SOMA. Another great game from Frictional.

What can I say about this game that hasn't been said before. It's one of the premium "e-sport" games. With an endless variety of heroes to learn, and combinations to fight against. The learning curve is nothing short of completely insane. The competitive aspects of this game are second to none, every game can end up being a struggle where hearts and souls are poured in and dreams can either be crushed or realized.

The sounds and voice acting is top notch, with my great voice actors and clever lines between the heroes. Don't be surprised if you hear a new line after playing for 1000 of hours. The graphics are slightly stylized but are very sharp and get the job done.

Oh and did I mention this game is free? Not a trial, or pay gated. The entire thing is free. Only cosmetics require any kind of purchase. Dota 2 is probably the most insane value in gaming to date.

Great game, doesn't take itself too seriously and keeps the action going. Some fun humor with music mixed in. A literal steal if you see this game priced under 10 bucks.

Assassin's Creed 4, one of Ubisoft's flagship titles already named PS4's game of the year does not disappoint. A lot of bang for your buck here, epic storyline with fleshed out cities and islands to explore. Plenty of loot to plunder and enemy ships to battle.
If that isn't enough add in a epic story following the adventures of a young Edward Kenway, and you have a great game. AC4 also includes a fully blown multiplayer game, both pvp and Co-op Wolfpack modes.

Scary.. the good kind. Oldie but goodie. Best 2.50$ I've spent in a long time.

This is my no duh recommendation of the gaming season. Other game making companies must feel like frauds when they fire up this game. The music, graphics and sheer open world size will blow you away.

Without this game there is no Mass Effect. One of Bioware's brightest and best games.

Only bad thing about this game is it won't do your dishes for you., although you might forget to eat while you play.
