The Rise of the Triad 2013 soundtrack was already awesome, Andrew Hulshult really nailed it. The tracks were slightly remastered for this release and they now sound better than ever. This definitive version of the soundtrack is definitely worth the purchase. Also, as suggested in the requirements, play it LOUD!

Action at its best. Running around like a madman and racking up the longest kill chains you can imagine. That urge of finding an enemy to shoot so your chain won't reset makes for some fast paced game-play! Somewhat good variety of enemies and weapons, but maybe future episodes will introduce more, alongside new stage gimmicks.

The current stages are fine for the most part, Although, I wish they weren't in pairs, it could had brought up more level variety, gimmicks and bosses for each levels instead of every two levels. Some bosses are perhaps to easy, however, the rest are hard as all hell, but learning their attack patterns, tied with good timing, make any hard boss fight even more satisfying upon victory!

The soundtrack still tries to find its identity, but does make a good variety of music overall. But, because of that, some music will come, other will vanish, hopefully temporarily! Bobby Prince is the one behind the soundtrack and sound for the game; and my gosh he delivers! The music for the finale, Wrukus, is absolutely epic, my favorite track so far! Followed by 'Whom The Bells Toll For', used in the secret level!

I do wish the best to the developers. I really want to see future episodes for this! For one that would mean even more track by Bobby Prince and who wouldn't want that? Therefore, I would give this game a "8.5/10" Great game play, ideas, style, music and sound, but it could use a bit more level variety, new enemies wouldn't hurt and make some of the weaker boss much harder and react faster also. In the end, I definitely recommend this game, it's worth the full price!
