there is not much content here yet, but what's here is very promising and VERY addicting. I can't wait for updates.

the netcode is actually fantastic, the matchmaking is the real problem. i had a stable 0-1 frame rollback connection between me in germany and a friend in the USA. we had a 160ms ping and yet there was no rollback jitter at all. meanwhile the matchmaking ignores connections and gives me red bar opponents all the time.

It's not great out of the box. It's really just Skyrim with a band-aid VR solution that's barely functional. Only buy it if you're ready to spend way more time modding it than you think it will take to mod. After getting the game to a state I'm somewhat happy with i already feel so exhausted that i don't want to play the game anymore.
Waste of money.

Bought it for 12 bucks not too long ago and it's so boring that it's not even worth that, it can't even hold my attention for 30 minutes, now they want 60 bucks for it.

there is no depth to this game, you just press buttons faster than your opponent and hope they never get their turn
chip damage, recoverable health, and heat completely devalue defensive play
the tekken talks for season 2 show that the devs either don't understand the problems of this game, or that they don't want to fix them

DRM is useless and only hurts your paying customers, stop mistreating us!

this is probably the only game that understands why vampire survivors was a success and rather than being a cheap copy it expands upon that. i'm not a hololive viewer and it is still very enjoyable.

i don't need to buy a switch for this
