I'm glad that I'm able to write another very positive review apart from Elden Ring this year. Thought all developers just wanna release unfinished games but with Stray that was clearly not the case. Honestly I can't praise this game enough. First of all the story is amazing. I really loved it. I even like the ending which normally is quite a rare occurrence. I've seen quite a few people complaining about the length of this game. Which is relatable. 5h is not a whole lot. But personally I enjoyed those 5h much more than some game which tries to reach 20h but has mostly fillers in it. I actually think the playtime was very well chosen for Stray. Apart from that I can only report positive things. The graphics are amazing. It looks beautiful and my pc runs it perfectly without any stuttering whatsoever. The music is astonishingly good. I absolutely think this game should win an award for it's music. Yeah I mean I could go on with praising this game. Animations are insanely clean. No bugs. No crashes. Fun game mechanics. No boring side quests. Great game design. The NPC's in this game are actually helpful. You are a cat. 10/10 loved this game. Couldn't recommend it enough. The game is pretty similar to Little Nightmares which may be one of the reasons why I like it so much. So if you enjoy such games definitely get it. Not even overpriced rly.

I find it a bit difficult to rate this game, but I'll give it my best shot. It's definitely better than Jurassic World Evolution. Purely because of the content. You can do so much more in this game. It just doesn't feel as good as the first one. There are several bugs regarding the lagoons which I've encountered. For me, that was a huge letdown because the lagoon was one of the major parts I was hyped about. And although I've encountered several very annoying bugs, I still enjoy playing the challenges or creating a sandbox park. The variety of dinosaurs is pretty nice. There are a lot of well known species as well as pretty unknown ones. But at the same time, the whole appeal system I think is pretty weird. I'm a bit disappointed that they just copied it from the first game. Atleast, if I recall correctly it is the exact same. In conclusion, I definitely recommend this game to people who enjoyed the first one or just enjoy Jurassic Park & World in general. I find the DLC's and the main game pretty overpriced, so I recommend buying in a sale.

So first off, this game has a lot to offer... I mean, like really a lot. In nearly 40h, I only defeated 2 of the main bosses. That's not because I'm a bad player. It's just that this game has so much content and I constantly find new caves, dungeons and castles to explore. For my first play through I want to explore as much as possible, so it'll take probably more than 100h to finish my first one. But I really don't mind. Now I'll actually start with the review. The first thing you'll see while playing is the absolute stunning scenery. The game looks incredible. A lot of people complain about performance issues, but personally I didn't encounter any major ones. Apart from the amazing landscape, the bosses and enemies also look beautiful... In their own way. The atmosphere while playing this game is just exactly like you would expect from such a theme. The difficulty of the game is perfect imo. It's hard and complicated if you want it difficult. And if you prefer an easier experience you can just level more, summon stronger Spirits and stuff like that. Next thing: Music. I really enjoyed the music. It's beautiful. A lot of bosses have a very fitting theme while fighting them. Some aggressive and some pretty calm. Bugs: A major thing for a lot of people. And something I can gladly say I had only a few minor ones. Yeah, sometimes the enemies have weird hitboxes, or they hit through walls. Or sometimes your horse can't be spawned. That's all minor things. It doesn't change the game in any major way. No game breaking bugs to be seen or heard of. In summary, this game is amazing. Everyone who likes exploring open world areas, who likes challenges, who likes beautiful sceneries and beautiful themes should try out this masterpiece.

Edit: Now I got a little more experience and I want to continue my review. I have roughly 90h now and already finished the game. Defeated the last boss and after that some more side bosses. And everything that I said before still applies. The difficulty gets a lot more hard in the late game but I absolutely enjoyed my playthrough. The hardest boss in the game *big surprise* is the end boss. At least in my opinion no other boss was nearly that hard. A lot of people think the girl in the Hailigtree is the hardest but I defeated her in less than five tries so no problems there. This game and it's bosses are amazing. I'd still give it a 10/10.

Somehow this game is good and bad at the same time. It's very fun and looks awesome. Map design 10/10. But the bugs and stuff make it kinda annoying and boring at times. Good part is you can adjust every setting so that's fine. Playing with a friend on the one hand is a cool and fun experience but on the other hand it lags like ♥♥♥♥ (Not because of my PC. It's because of the servers i would guess. My pc runs this game amazingly in single player) Solid 8.5/10 still.

A LOT more enjoyable with mods btw.

I haven't finished the game till now but i just wanted to make a review so badly. I'll probably update this review when i finished the game but for now this 14 hours should be enough to give you an expression of what i like about this game. So the game basically let's you explore whatever you want first. Of course you need to unlock some abilities to reach new areas but you can still choose. The game definetly is challenging and that's one thing i really like about this game because the difficulty is hard but not too hard to make it frustrating. The only negative thing i kinda dislike is the fact that you're constantly running around where you have been already just because you unlocked something new or smth like that. Means that you'll spend a lot of time just running around with no use. But i guess that's what this game wants. It's not a point that should demotivate you from playing this game tho. I can only recommend it to everyone. Doesn't need a good pc to work and is not overpriced so there's no reason not to get it. Enjoy!
Edit: Finished a world now! I did 78% on my first run and it was amazing! The bosses were challenging and very fun. The end boss (Little Spoiler ahead) was not the hardest in the game tbh. It was fairly easy to defeat but still a nice boss fight. With the constant changing in his fighting it was different than the other bosses so i enjoyed that fight. I would really recommend this game to everyone who likes Indie games with that graphic style. 10/10

Good game but devs pls fix your game. With gamebreaking perks like Tomahawk in the game it's unplayable. Recommendation tho
