The game runs very smoothly, and the graphics are absolutely fantastic. It is actually very easy to play, and it's not extremely stressful like a lot of other platformers. The story in Nihilumbra is of those you'd never expect to find in a platformer such as this one.

I have seen complaints about the controls, where you've had to click the bubble to used your Void "color." This is, infact, one way of doing it. If you're on the Desert stage, and you already don't know that holding down the right mouse-button would let you use your Void "color," you may need to re-check your controls to make sure that you know what each one does.

As for the story of the game, it's wonderful. Tell me, how often do you find a platformer game with as much story as this one has? Yes, it's a little bit odd, I agree; just the fact that there IS a story to this game at all is what makes it so great.

Now for the narrating. I really adore the deep voice, but sometimes the narrator is only pointing out the obvious. For example, when you first ecounter the Kilmeth, he tells you that it can "erase colors" after you've most likely figured that out [if] you'd tried to burn it. As you progress through the game, he's only telling you things that have already figured out. I will agree that you could just turn off the voice, but what's the point when the text would still be there? It's what he's saying that's the most obnoxious, not the voice (for me, at least).
