Have over a thousand hours in the game and can confidently say it's extremely fun. Have not run into a single cheater this season, including teamers, and the balance is in a mostly good spot.

The new player experience has been enormously improved. It's wild to think you start off struggling to kill one skeleton, to slaying an enormous dragon that will insta kill you if you look at it wrong.

A truly unique game to experience

Completely unplayable in OCE region as there's no servers. Too laggy. Couldn't even finish the tutorial because the gun wouldn't reload

Throw random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ into the air and shoot it with a nuke detonating an entire rooms worth of enemies.

This game incentives doing everything in the most stylish way possible. It never gets boring

This game has suffered a review bomb for a couple of reasons.

1. They didn't fix some bugs/balance issues that were present in the betas.
2. People believe the starter packs are pay to win.

The first point is incontestable, this is a legitimate issue and a mistake on the devs part. However, the game is still remarkably fun despite these issues, and for the most part you can enjoy the game without interruption.

The second is just wrong. Buying the most expensive starter pack gives you 2 sets of slightly better armour and more of the same guns you already start with. It is not a major advantage, it is a minor convenience that will let you complete quests slightly faster for maybe the first 5 hours of game play, after that, everything's a level playing field.

This game has its issues, but they are nothing the dev team at Yager can't fix in a few weeks to come. It is an incredibly fun game and 100% worth your time to at the very least give a shot, it's free after all :)

A humorous and epic take on an SCP containment breach. Every round has something different, and every once in a blue moon, just for this round, everything aligns and it really feels like you are the protagonist.

The effort put into this game and the finish is very evident. While lacking a little in content, it makes up for it with incredible level design that I actually enjoyed dying to, still captivated at the perfect timings and creativity of the obstacles.

The price may seem a little steep, but understand that levels of this quality can't be created in short amounts of time. I imagine that the time spent on creating this game is equivalent to other games priced at around $20, it's just creating new content of a quality as high as every single level in this game is immensely time consuming.

For the future, it would be nice if the devs were able to add some kind of level editor, to perhaps expand on the content. But even without this, I would still very much recommend this game, if not just for the feeling you get when playing an intricately crafted level perfectly in time with the music for the first time.

Subnautica is a fantastically crafted survival game that turns into a story game just as some of the survival mechanics become boring. This game has a lot of pros, but it also unfortunately has some cons.

This game is an achievement hunters nightmare. The relentless glitchy terrain that you undoubtedly will fall victim to at least once is a guaranteed death, and completely out of your control. This is obviously extremely frustrating, so if you're like me and don't enjoy being cheated, will cheat to ensure you don't die from starvation will stuck in a wall. Turning on console commands, however, will prevent any achievements for the entirety of that save file.

I should also mention, this game does not have much re-playability.

All this being said, however, I believe the survival and story are well worth the struggles of some of the less refined areas.
