Pros: Enticing story, great modding community, hours of fun.

Cons: No battle royale mode or lootboxes.

I've played this game with my friends for years (since open beta) and used to really love it. However, over the last few years the state of the game has progressively gotten worse to the point where our entire friend group slowly quit in favour of games that don't feel like an insufferable mess.

Just a few of the games issues:

- Constant server outages
- Questionably non-existent balance
- Concerning focus on cosmetics rather than bug fixing (some bugs from beta are still in the game)
- Lootboxes are extremely prevalent
- Criticism from the community on the subreddit is usually ignored
- The international competitive scene is a shambles
- Servers outside of EU West and NA are abysmal

The game can be fun but I wouldn't suggest worrying about competitive play like you might on other mobas as most patches will leave you banging your head on a wall in frustration as they yet again don't address the issues the game faces and shell out some more character skins for you to buy.
