Amazing game that offers both a solid single player experience with tons of bosses and areas to explore, as well as an engaging pvp experience if you decide to play on a public server.

One of the best games ever

Get it if you enjoy top down stealth games. If i had to compare it to another series, i would say it is very similar to the old "Commandoes" series from pyro studios. The game offers a nice variety of maps (i think one map is reused). Sadly you can only cross from one door to the other when it comes to structures and the insides are never shown. The characters themselves are interesting and varied (to the extent the period and the game allows) with some absurdity (like a master samuray sneaking in full plate armor while wearing a huge helmet) but fun. The initial playthrough took me around 18 hours, with the game offering challenges for replayability and extra difficulty.

Provides a very good atmosphere but nothing else

The progressiong in this game is unrewarding - and it feels like a waste of time

I started playing this game after finishing the first one in the series multiple times - i must say i find this series to be one of my favourite. In Dishonored you can expect:

-An awesome stealth experience if you choose to avoid fighting

-An amazing and bloody march to your objective if you choose to approach the situation in a direct manner

-Cool supernatural abilities that feel awesome to use

-Detailed and interesting backstory

-Multiple ways to approach every single objective in every mission

-An environment that provides you with information and rewards exploration

-Mechanics such as the outsiders time piece that introduce new industry gameplay elements never seen before

What this game will no offer you is - a lot of content i finished my first stealth only playthrough in just under 24 hrs
- Ai that behaves in a smart manner


In the end i believe it is an amazing purchase
