This has been probably my favorite game of this year to play. If you love strategy tactical games similar to Xcom, then I highly recommend Reverse Collapse. The story was so fun at all times and had me at the edge of my seat, even making me shed some tears at one point. It also wasn't very predictable, making you guess what will happen next at all points. The gameplay had me trying out every piece of equipment I had to their fullest for every possible situation, using some items that I counted off as useless at first but were the reason for my success.

With all of that I only had three complaints:
- The first chapter or two don't really get you "hooked" into the story and gameplay for me. It is more on the basic side which does help for you learning the game and its mechanics. But it also makes you disinterested until the more interesting plot points and gameplay occur.

- The stealth missions are also lacking with only a few exceptions. Most are reliant on trial and error instead of your strategy and wits that the non-stealth missions excel in. These missions a lot of times don't feel like your fault when you fail. Most of them come down to you, "missing the bus". A scenario where the game spawns a unit on a specific turn that you had no clue would happen, checks your safe zone your hiding in. And if you weren't on the specific tiles the game assumed you were on at that point, then there is no way to recover the mission and you will have to return to a previous save point.

- Some missions have hidden instant win spots that essentially immediately complete the mission if you find or stumble upon them. These are neat to find when you do, but they take away from the challenge and make the game more frustrating when the mission you've been struggling on, had an easy route you could of taken the game didn't point out. I think a simple fix would of been one of the characters mentioning these routes if you failed a mission too many times.

Overall, one of my favorite games I've played and one I am planning on 100%. I hope we get to see more from this series and where it has to go.
