A complete letdown compared to the first game. The graphics are improved, and some of the new mechanics are fun. All the extra modes and content are nice but not as fun. The story just gets in the way, too much dialog when you just want to jump back in. Also, the inclusion of the levels from the original is nice, but since the physics/gameplay are different some things don't work as they used to; removing ways you could beat them.

If you love 3D platformers in the vein of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Banjo Kazooie; then this is the game for you. It delivers a solid experience, with great controls (no bad cameras here) and a fantastic art style reminiscent of Wind Waker plus a cuteness factor and unimaginable charm. I backed this game on Kickstarter in 2013, and I can wholeheartedly say that it was completely worth the wait!

At first it was an interesting concept, but there is only one outcome for the game, so none of the choices you make actually matter for anything. Even though it was free, I feel cheated out of 50 min trying to get a different ending.

Got this while it was free on Steam. I was excited to try it out, but was met with disappointment. This game gets a lot of praise, but it was not for me.

I love platformers and puzzles, but this game had nothing to keep me interested. Not a huge fan of the aesthetic or the creepy swamp theme; the boy runs super slow, your jump is minimal, can't rebind the keyboard, while using a controller you can't turn off rumble, there is no music just ambient sounds at best (some gross ones in there), no resolution options (or any options for that matter), and the list goes on.

Also for some reason this little boy just dies horrible deaths with spiders, rocks, bear traps, etc; which along with the sounds made it really disturbing for no apparent reason. Don't really get what the game was going for.

I want to preface this by saying that I backed this game on Kickstarter; I thought the game looked promising. The animations and art are beautiful and feel fluid. The best part is when you chain enemy kills together and just continue to rise up fast, it is really satisfying. Sadly, the good things about this game end there.

The music was nice at first but then it got annoying when I had to replay the same level, repeatedly when I died. It is not too hard, but you are going to have trouble in some parts. This would be fine if the levels were not all pretty much the same but reskinned. The formula: normal level where you collect a specific amount of coins to beat it and then a similar level but just climbing up while acid is rising. Occasionally there is a boss fight, which I would describe as an endurance test. They are not hard since the boss patterns are predictable, but take too much time. The worst part about some levels is that money is scarce, so you better kill everything you see and try not to die before reaching the exit.

Still after all these flaws I was enjoying the game until, after like 6 times doing the same level again, the game glitched on me at the very end. I had just enough money and just rushed to the exit before something could kill me. Right there at the exit was a medusa enemy so I just jumped over her to get to the door but that somehow didn’t trigger the exit and I just fell through the door and the floor, leaving me trapped and unable to finish the level. Here is a screenshot of what happened http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=513761231

I honestly can’t recommend this game like this, but if you get it somehow, it is at least worth a try. I recommend using a PS3/PS4 controller since you are forced to use the D pad, and the Xbox controller one is unusable for most things; keyboard is also fine.

This is an easy one, if you have (or sometimes have) someone to play with, GET IT. This has been one of the best buys of my life, while playing the room fills with tension and laughter; a great time for everyone.

I can see the appeal of this game, but I didn't enjoy at all. There are some clever puzzles but that's it. Music is repetitive, changing between the characters is a pain and interrupts the flow of the game, visuals are pretty bland and the narration gets annoying in the later levels because when you die it repeats itself. If this game was way cheaper and a bt shorter, then maybe it would have been a good time.

Minimalistic art style, with flashing colors, techno/chip tune music and haaaaard levels. Keep yourself alive for a few seconds and that will be a great accomplishment. You will be seeing the game over screen 98% of the time. Stressful as ♥♥♥♥. **There is a free web version available with one level if you google it**

Warning: The flashing light could be possibly seizure inducing, even if that is not the case, I recommend looking away from the screen every so often.

Not into MOBAs and this game definitely didn't change my mind. It's iteresting to see a cartoon style game in this genre, but it is not my thing.

Fantastic 2d fighting game with tight controls and nice drawn visuals. Characters are quite varied and fun to play, with a good tutorial to explain every move and combo. Playing online is pretty much lagless, to be expected when playing a fighting game where movement is precise. I am not a huge fan of fighting games except Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcon and Smash Bros, but this game is quite fun to play and brings me back to the arcade cabinet days. 9/10
