This game is easily GOTY for me. Stalker is such a fun series, I've played them all from one degree to another. If you're brand new to the series then you are really missing out on the lore and the history of the game with its mechanics and purpose so don't expect this to be like the Metro or Fallout series. There's a few things I wish were better but the game will improve over time and the modding community is already out in full force.

Game is dead. Microtransactions are practically AAA games at $70 each and the developers won't use that price gouging money to advertise the game. At most 2-4k players on at any time. They said they decided to self-publish the game which means they have no publisher for a marketing budget. Why would you self-publish a completely free to play game? You're not getting any revenue from downloads? What were they thinking.
