STALKER 2 is recommended, but as a spiritual successor? Hard to say for me personally, if you are a fan of the games from the early 2000's you'll find that some of the systems that were part of STALKERs spirit arent present in this game.

There is a hope that this will be rectified in the future according to the developers.

However, despite demanding spec recommendations the game runs quite smoothly, its visually impressive. And while its combat is rather lackluster, it will keep you engaged. The story seems to be a strange retreading, and some people may be looking for a fresher and more unique story.

With that said, I applaud the developers. They made an excellent game for this era.

There isnt anything like this, and because of that its firmly niche. But for those that have the right kind of hands for a game like this, you'll find its the game you used to be in your dreams and write about in your notebook.

If you like this type of game, you've already been looking for one. I like to think the difficulty in this game is akin to STALKER - for a boomer shooter its got atmosphere and a story to enjoy. Simple, fun, good.

its a cash grabber, Fallout was serious until this. You'll want to play it one day, when you're worn thin of Fallout 4 you'll give 76 a tenner or a twenty worth of game time. Wait for a sale, and hop in to be surprised by how much you've missed since launch.

A sequel to a cult classic, it has cemented itself as a smash hit already. You'll find yourself sucked in, and realize how much you missed playing a PVP Shooter that didnt have any junk to read between matches.
A campaign all 40k fans will love, and multiplayer that drops you in, pulls you out, and loads up the next match. You're only left wanting more.

Early Access Review
The games atmosphere is impressive, and its mechanical jank makes it feel like you're playing a game from yesteryear. For an early access launch, its not bad - its longevity will improve with more to do in game.

The game prides itself on you not being the hero, and while I admire that I can't help but wish I was able to be one of the sick gun totting cyborgs that haunt the player.

One of the coolest main menu themes Ive ever heard.

What Void Bastards begun, Wild Bastards has improved on. Quite enjoyable, theres a good bit of depth.

It was good from the start, and you're lying to yourself otherwise.

And it even got better as time went on, like The Witcher, CDPR somehow knocks it out of the park with an ancient IP and produces a totally unique and memorable experience. The anime and the game will leave you wanting more, you'll wish we were already in a Cyberpunnk dystopia this cool.

Id like to think it wasnt heralded very well when it was showcased eons ago at E3. But it just might impress us all in the end.

Without mincing words its a technical marvel, visually, mechanically, and fundamentally inspired. Somehow Rare invented a game that has allowed me carry memories and stories for the rest of my life. And thats more important than longevity or content in a game every day of the week. Its such a shame that all good things must come to an end.

One of those games that everyone should play, its a central nervous system, its the bedrock of RPG games, its a game from Pax Romana era of Video Games. You do yourself a favor by enjoying it, your horizons and expectations are improved by the experience.
