haven't gotten too deep into it yet, but it's a lot of fun!

game's tight

You move slow as hell through gigantic zones to fight monsters who hardly give you any loot. It isn't 2000 anymore.

It's a pretty rad little ARPG. You can very much tell what aspects of the game they put their attention into, which I majorly respect.

it is by far the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way to play Magic, while also being the worst of the big digital card games. Just play one of those instead.

the economy of the game was already predatory as all hell, and the devs recently admitted that they release cards too strong on PURPOSE, with the intent to nerf them later. The one nerfed most recently cost roughly $60 worth of currency to get, and was a driving force in the metagame before being nerfed. Absolutely disgraceful.

To be honest the gameplay seems pretty fun. However I refuse to support a game that immediately shoves SIX $20 battle passes in your face, of which you can only progress one at a time. Shameful.

This is the only deckbuilding roguelike that I think surpasses Slay the Spire. I think it has more interesting "card" interactions, more interesting characters, a more interesting world, and a more interesting combat system.

Interesting.

It's great, one of the greatest RPGs I've played in a long time.
