i have been waiting roughly a year for the a0.9 update before writing this review....

The concept at the core of this game is solid. It has a ton of potential, but unfortunaly this game is CLEARLY in development hell, and I don't see a finished version of this game ever materializing. the developers are charging WAY too much for what this game currently is, even on sale. The price would be completely fair for a finished version of this game but it is not.

i genuinely wish the developers the best and hope this review fuels their desire to prove the doubters such as myself wrong, and i hope they do prove me wrong, but at this time the realist in me is calling this vapourware. Sorry guys.

It's sad but I felt a little emotional seeing this pop up on the Steam front page.

My first experience with RPGMaker was actually '95, but although i have alot of nostalgia for '95 I have no wish to see it re-released. Same goes for 2000, a great engine but not one i feel has much relevance nowadays. 2003 is different, i have been wanting to see this rereleased for a LONG time, as it is definetly the most unique iteration of the RPGMaker series and one you should buy right now :)

If you are getting this for Multiplayer, DON'T BOTHER, you will not be able to play as UPLAY is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useless.
