Early Access Review
This game hearkens back to NES era JRPG's and has a lot of potential, but the music got monotonous quickly right inside the first castle. I generally love these types of games but the soundfont for the music does not do this game justice unfortunately. It is still an early access game though and if you can look past the music you'll find it's vibrant and innovative on the original designs of old.

Top down RPG's come and go but the Hammerwatch franchise continues to deliver. Being that it's a roguelike, your skill ceiling determines your gameplay and it has long term progression to enjoy either solo or with friends. Just as good as the original Heroes of Hammerwatch!

Wayfinder was a game I didn't even know existed, and a friend recommended it to me, and I'm glad that they did because it's everything I look for in an ARPG.

It has a wide class variety with a very Wildstar aesthetic and combat feels satisfying and distinct compared to other similar titles. They have pulled inspiration from a variety of games to produce an interesting world that isn't the same tired old stories you're used to, and it's cohesive with the multiplayer so it doesn't feel strange to have other powerful champions running around.

Definitely worth a look at its current price, you won't be disappointed.

Definite furry bait, but great combat system, graphics are a nice throwback and it runs near flawlessly without having crashed once in 8 hours of play. Soloable but way more fun with people.

I just want to say after randomly coming across this game in my discovery queue, it's a really fantastic game among so many other indie games and deserves any recognition it gets. It was short but so sweet, and you guys did everything very well.

The sound design is amazing, you really know how to reward people with great audio and visuals, puzzles are intuitive and encourage exploration, and having grown up with those old retro titles, this really feels like a spiritual successor to the sort of gaming that emerged from the late 80's and 90's and takes us back to a time where games weren't afraid to explore new ideas and game styles. It doesn't matter that it follows in the footsteps of a tried and true formula for a particular genre of gaming because it meshes unique gameplay with a fun story that's easy to digest for new and old players.

If a Minishoot Adventures 2 ever comes out, I'll be there to get it because of how impressive this game was.

This game features:

- Gradual Power Ramp through XP earned by killing enemies. Spend on talents and re-talent as you see fit anytime.
- Permanent Treasures which provide passive boosts to various aspects of gameplay found all over the map and in dungeons.
- Fast Travel on the Overworld Map (Once you find a certain something which lets you do it.)
- Mini Races! (Completely Optional, but worth doing. Trust me, I'm a Moose.)
- Variable Difficulty, (I recommend Normal first and then trying it on Advanced, but there is an Easy Mode as well.)
- A killer soundtrack, you will love it instantly.
- Checkpoints at all areas of interest so you can try over and over should you fall in combat.
- Intuitive and smooth controls, never felt janky or counterintuitive. The game does recommend a controller but keyboard and mouse works just fine, did not encounter any difficulty due to the setup.
- Short and Sweet, to the point. The game can be completed very quickly if you only focus on the main story, but even with exploration and a little intuition I was able to complete the main story in 9 hours, with plenty still left to do. Great for someone who doesn't have a lot of time or a person who wants something new to plow through in a day. Won't elaborate so no spoilers. :)

If you enjoy bullet hell type games, metroidvania style exploration and acquisition, and a classic story about being the hero, this is the game for you. Couldn't recommend it enough!

If you have reservations about spreading Managed Democracy across the galaxy to preserve our way of life, you just might be under informed, or perhaps a TRAITOR.

Helldivers II sports amazing visuals, amazing teamplay, and a whole lot of ammo. A **lot** of ammo. Shells the size of your dog house. Bombs that would level your house, and the block it's on. The Net-Link for their servers is occasionally not the best, but that's what happens when you suddenly have millions of people all signing up to be a Helldiver, and Liberty cannot wait!

Do your part, preserve our way of life, become a Helldiver and spread Democracy to the universe proper.

Infinite Mana is a fantastic love letter to old school RPG's from the 90's and early 2000's and captures the essence of what made them good, but also is updated with the reasonable quality of life things you'd expect from current day games. The game has variable difficulties that allow you to experience it differently depending on your challenge needs, and combat is fluid and quick. You can see the inspiration of various games culminate in a solid RPG experience, and there are plenty of easter eggs to make you chuckle or point at the screen like AYYYY.

Loving it so far. Lots of potential.

This game is absolutely fantastic, multiple classes to level with their own unique weapons and mods that alter the weapons behaviors in the missions, and every class synergizes well with the others for fun and interesting gameplay. If you're looking for a fun co-op game that has seamless Steam and Discord integration that is both active and awesome, this is it.
