First things first, this game is great. I've been thoroughly enjoying it and have been pleased that so far the hype surrounding it's release has been paying off.

THAT BEING SAID

NG+ being locked behind a paywall (and, by extension, getting 100% achievements) is incredibly scummy and a terrible business practice that is soiling this game in my eyes. RGG has been treading a dangerous path with their DLC practices for a while now, but this is just ridiculous. If they ever make NG+ free for this game (which they won't), I'll change my review, but otherwise, out of principal I feel obligated to give a negative review to show that I do not approve of the increasingly parasitic DLC that RGG/Sega feel the need to keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ out.

Takes a minute to get used to its unique mechanics and control scheme, but MH:W has great combat and a hilariously terrible story.

Play it with ya boys. 8.5/10

I hate this game so much. Everything about it is worse than DS1, but for a video game it's ok. play it if you have a friend to enjoy the game with, otherwise its dookie butt. :steambored:
