Perfect short lil Horror jaunt, I've screamed at least like 3 times.

Support the devs, these guys awesome.

Fantastic tactical breach and clear puzzle game. As in about 3 hours I already wish to vouch for the gameplay, I'm liking the characters and story being presented as well.

I'm playing on hard, and surrrrrrrre you can kinda cheese out levels with some mechanics presented, but if you're going for the challenges presented in each level they do add a more puzzle like element to the game, giving little elbow room for messing around.

The game does also have a rewind mechanic so no need to worry if you missclick a tile, there's no percentage rates to attack if you're expecting an Xcom like. (Which I was looking at the screen shots and no video footage, to make me think this.) So don't feel guilty for using the rewinds, lord knows I forget to hunker down and get clapped by accident rewinds preventing this. (Of course you can always forfeit the ability to use if you waaaant.)

Anyways good game buy it. what's packaged here is worth it.

For what the game is and for the price point of 15-10 dollars depending on sale. Really good game to be honest, some jank here and there but over all an enjoyable experience. However the combat can get a bit tedious at times for just 'Whail on the enemy till their guard breaks'

However there are ways to start circumventing this via item builds or status debuffs you can apply.

Good game for seeing your synergy for game mechanics with other people. Also really fun bullet hell with some difficulty but easy to learn with enough attempts.

Absolutely adorable free to game, the art quality is astounding along with the feel of the controls. Quick 45-ish minutes depending on your platforming skill, what's to lose? I also like sheepy.

Left game on for so long, I had a duck break the matrix and blue screen my pc. Now I'm not sure if that's the ducks fault or my pc....

After what i'd like to consider a disastrous launch, I would like to change my recommendation to a yes, instead of a no. However due to what has happened then, the more recent changes feel how the game should've launched as, instead of a half-baked predatory MTX cash grab. So sticking to my guns I'll keep it to a no.

HOWEVER, due to the changes, and the fact that they went basically "Hey we know we did ya dirty with the MTX, so we'll fully bake the game, and halt any new MTX items." That puts it in a better light for me.
I've refunded the game and a friend wanted to play with, which is why I've marked that I've now gotten it for free, and after playing for the additional hours that I have. Super solid co-op experience, good game feel, fun-ish loot loop.
Mission Drought, is my main complaint with the game, as of now. You will eventually end up playing the same few missions, even if not within a quick span, there's I believe as of now there's only about 15-16 or so missions? and like about 5-7 locations give or take? I don't know if it's just me but I've had situations where I've thought I was doing a different mission, because it uses the same tile-set. The forgiving factor in this is the mission modifiers giving some missions wildly different playthroughs.

Main overall take Excellent game feel, Solid co-op experience, (without friends though this can lead to frustrating events sometimes due to random players.) A limited amount of missions only held up due to mission variation due to modifiers. I give the Current game a recommendation (Def if it's on sale), however due to the history of the game I give it a no.
