A masterpiece.... I was skeptical at the start because they replaced Sebastian's VA, but he quickly grew on me, and so did the story. There is a lot more depth in the sequel, which was much appreciated. The monsters were horrifying, the bosses were difficult and fun, the soundtrack was wonderful, and the climax was fantastic. While there are some aspects of the first game that are more special and unique, this is one of those cases where the sequel is better. I highly recommend.

Overall, I give The Evil Within 2 a 10/10

A horror gem. Among the ranks of Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Outlast. I find it important to note that it's a bit of a rough PC port that required me to preform some script editing to get it to run to my liking, but besides that, I absolutely recommend it!

The gore is gnarly, the combat is fun and heart pounding, the bosses and environment are wonderfully crafted, and the atmosphere is peak. Sebastian is such a well written character, and I felt rather attached by the end of the game. Also, for a game that released over a decade ago, the graphics are GORGEOUS! My goodness, it looks better than some recent releases I have seen.

Overall, I rate The Evil Within a 9/10

I am amazed at how beautiful Atomfall is! The greenery, the buildings, the NPCs - they are all masterfully crafted and wonderfully optimized. The movement is fluid, the combat is both fun and challenging, and honestly I am impressed.

I am also amazed at just how much freedom there is. You can pretty much do whatever you please; befriend someone, or kill them (Literally ANY Npc can be killed), steal, rob, trade, threaten, be cordial, caring, helpful, etc... I am had such a blast, and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

I went with the Operator ending, as one of my favorite aspects of the game was the man on the phone who told me what to do. While the climax was nothing masterful, I felt content and enjoyed my experience.

8/10

Cyberpunk is one of those games that changes your outlook on the medium. Between how immersive the graphics are, to how fun and visceral the combat is, to how peak the romance is (Panam for life), to how deep and nihilistic the story is - Cyberpunk 2077 is a masterpiece that has left me speechless for the longest time. I wish more games were as in-depth as Cyberpunk, and I will have to cope and wait for a similar game to come along and sweep me off my feet.

I tried, man, I really tried. I've bought Fallout 4 a few different times, and I absolutely cannot recommend it. Don't let my low steam hours fool you - I've played dozens of more hours, just on a console.

Let me start this off by saying that Bethesda's engine is ABHORRENTLY outdated. The graphics within fallout 4 are a brownish, greenish, yellow mush of crap that looks like it should've been released in 2008. The green UI is ugly, the pipboy is ugly, the quests are boring, the jankiness is ridiculous, and Bethesda is lazy as hell for relying on modders to fix their game for them (but hey, that's nothing new). The FPS is low-locked unless you modify the game files, etc...

I could go on, but this review is more for my own records than to convince others not to buy it. I am the biggest Bethesda hater, and I am proud of it.

Early Access Review
I typically only review story-based games, but I feel the need to write a review for NMRIH2, as there is a lot of negativity surrounding its release that I believe is unfair.

First and foremost, yes, it was a ROUGH launch; gameplay was incredibly unstable, janky, and buggy. I played a few hours at launch, and didn't touch it again for quite a while. I was aware that it was early access, so I wasn't going to form much of an opinion until later updates. Since launch, I upgraded my GPU from an RTX 3060Ti, to a RTX 4070 Super. Couple that, along with several major updates, and I am actually enjoying the heck outta NMRIH2!

Pros:
Super gnarly gore
Wonderful graphics
Tense and unsettling moments
Private lobbies
Unique Rogue-like mechanics
Infection
Suicide button (very entertaining)
Very active developers who respond to feedback

Cons:
Requires an above average PC to run well (for reference, I'm sporting an i7-11700F, RTX 4070S, 650 Wat PSU), and for stability. turning on DLSS 3.5 with Performance mode is recommended along with frame generation that comes with newer GPU's
Not a lot of zombie varieties (will be fixed with later updates)
Only a few objectives, with the same overarching main objective (More maps, objectives, etc... are coming in future updates, so do not let this turn you off)

Is this game perfect? No, not yet at least. Is it worth buying in its current state? Yes, absolutely! Have faith in the developers, remember that this is in early access and YOUR feedback can shape its final release. If you're running a lower-end PC, I'd wait on NMRIH2 until better optimization is implemented, but if you're running an average or (preferably) an above-average PC, then you are more than okay! As a final note, I find it important to mention that this game is DIFFICULT, and you will die a Sh*t-ton, but that's part of the fun

Mass Effect Legendary Edition Review:

Mass Effect 1 -
I wish I would have played this game sooner. I had no idea how rich the world building was, how real the characters felt, and how much fun I would have! I loved that my decisions actually impacted the story, and, further, I loved the romance aspect and the relationship building. I'm a sucker for a good romance, especially when the build up is good, and that was the case in Mass Effect 1. I decided to romance Ashley, and I loved how organic it felt. With that being said, I will say that the game felt clunky at times despite it being a remaster; the combat was a little janky, the facial animations during cutscenes were definitely a product of their time, and the character customization was a bit of a pain to get right (I started the game over three times during the introduction because my character's side profile looked so scuffed, but I eventually got it right. My second gripe, which is a bit of pet peeve, was the lack of blood/gore; it was immersion breaking when I would beam an enemy in the face with a sniper rifle and they would just rag doll, no wound, no blood, no nothing. These minor issues though should not turn you off from playing this wonderful game though, and my overall rating would be an 8/10 for the first entry!

Mass Effect 2 -
Wow. Just wow. Every little gripe I had with the first game was amended and improved in the second. Much more blood (and even gore, albeit mild), smoother mechanics/gameplay, improved graphical aspects (especially regarding facial animations and scenery), and much more decision making. The story was amazing, and even PERFECT at times. There were certain missions that felt a tad tedious, but that was a rare occurrence. A major part of the second game is gathering a squad of people who are essentially willing to go on a suicide mission, so a lot of the missions are spent gathering them and then doing their loyalty missions if you want them to be at their best. My favorites were Tali's, Samsara's, Miranda's, Thane's, and (although she technically doesn't count) Liara's. The weak links were Jacob's loyalty mission, Jack's, and Grunt's. The rest were great, albeit not masterful - but definitely not boring. Since Ashley was fake asf and turned her back on me (yeah yeah, I know I was dead for two years, but these hoes ain't loyal), I romanced Tali, as she was a character I adored during the first game. The romance was wholesome, sweet, and rather endearing. The intimate scene was pretty tame compared to the first game's, but it was still lovely. My gripes for the second Mass Effect game are 1) there was some bloat here and there which felt irrelevant to the story 2) While the romance was wonderful, it could have been a bit more detailed and drawn out 3. Overall, I'd give it a 9.5/10

Mass Effect 3 -
This game gutted me. Ever friend, every foe, every lover I've made over the series was put on full display and my actions truly affected whether they lived or died. The stakes in Me3 were much higher than that of 1 or 2. I knew the Reaper war was coming, but to have it be this dreadful, gritty, and intense was something I did not expect. Similarly to Me2, Me3's plot is to get as many allies as you can before going to battle against the Reapers. The opening showcases the invasion of Earth, which sets the bleak tone of the final entry in the Mass Effect Trilogy. By the time the credits rolled, I had cried more than once, felt like puking, and needed to go stare at a wall. Romance throughout the trilogy was at its peak in Me3, and I went with Tali to finish it all off. The love Shepherd and Tali shared felt genuine, had a solid foundation built across three games, and even though the ending shattered me, I found peace in the fact that my actions allowed Tali, and most of my crew to live. The combat was at its best in this entry, the graphics were superb, and enemies (especially the banshees) were adrenaline inducing. Overall, I'd give the final game a 10/10

TL;DR -
A masterpiece of a trilogy, and one that I cannot recommend enough! These games are one of the only ones in existence where I know my choices throughout have genuine consequences (whether good, or bad). While the first game feels a bit dated (even with the remaster) compared to the rest, it should not turn you off from the amazing story of the trilogy. The romance was perfection, the combat was exciting, the choices were raw. Overall, I'd give the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition a 10/10

Such a fun game! I'm doing a replaythrough of the series and just finished this bad boy :) The gameplay is smooth and fun, the choices are relevant, the story is exciting, and I can't wait for more. I went with the low chaos ending because it's cannon, which is unlike me because I usually prefer to feel like John Wick and beef with everyone. The low chaos ending in this game felt rather fun and challenging, and I would absolutely recommend

This has some of the best voice acting I've EVER heard in a video game. Like, it gives me chills just how intense everyone sounds. Also, the OST is FILTHYYYY - genuine bangers. Finally, the gameplay is smooth, violent, and overall peak. 10/10, please buy this game

Got 4 hours in. Met Maria. Realized I messed up the chance of getting her ending. Restarted the whole play through because I'm a simp. 10/10

Amazing graphics, bloody/crunchy combat, hard puzzles. this is the horror game I've been waiting for! Woohoo!
