Negative review until the main menu UI is fixed/rolled back.

Love this game to bits but I can't make head nor tails out of the UI.

Menus are a mess to navigate, feels like late stage MMO microtransaction death. Multiple different pages to constantly claim rewards from to spike that dopamine.

Its a nice looking game, but very very average survival and combat systems (Melee does feel a little satisfying). Average almost everything to be honest.

My only major gripe is the effect base building has on the world. The whole map is a mess of half constructed houses that just look so jarring. Its fine if you are used to playing RUST but its hard to appreciate the landscape and get immersed with wood foundations littering the horizon. I'd much rather the base building be limited to your personal zone than literally everywhere.

Its free, its fine to play. I don't feel the need to play any more than I have already however.

It's been yonks since this game was released and they are still releasing quality updates. It's obvious there's a lot of love for the game from its team.
