This was a superbly designed game! It's simple, but thoroughly explores its mechanics to make it feel a lot more full and vibrant. I loved the art, and I absolutely adore that the name of the game is just the character. The music was very silly and cute, and I enjoyed it as well. My only complaint is I wish it was a bit longer. However, at the low price I got it for I can't really complain all that much. Highly recommend.

I absolutely adored this game. The characters were lovely, the time looping mechanic was interwoven perfectly with the story, the game really empathizes with the player through its main character, Siffrin. They get impatient as you do, having to do the same things over and over again. Some of the moments in this game absolutely broke my heart.
This has got to be one of my favorite examples of a game connecting a major gameplay mechanic into the story. If you liked Undertale or OneShot or other games that do unique and cool things with their stories, I bet you'd really like this one too.

This game was phenomenal. Even weeks after finishing it I am still thinking about its fantastic setting and unique story. The settings were all so fantastic. The main world of the game, The Orchard, is eerily beautiful in a very Midsommar kind of way. The vibe is very appropriate for a story that follows a bunch of strange cultists through a truly wild ride. The second storyline that comes up is also very touching, and seems to speak to a really personal and intimate experience. Every main character in the game is fully voiced in an earnest yet quirky way; definitely a game made by a bunch of theater nerds. One voiceover artist's voice seemed to change due to real life puberty, and this change was reflected in the character they performed. Lots of well composed scenes, lots of interesting storytelling moments, and lots of really on-point vibes. This is more of a walking sim, with heavy emphasis on story that is told in kind of an abstract way imo.Highly recommend this one for folks who enjoy

This game is definitely inspired by the Donkey Kong Country series, sporting evolving platforming challenges, gorgeous art direction, and a catchy soundtrack. I am thoroughly enjoying it!

This game was pretty good! I thought the puzzles were really clever in many parts. The items were all really interesting; most of them I've not seen close approximations in any other game like this. Especially the "optional" items you get after layer 1. The "enemies" you run into on this adventure were truly imposing and unique, utilizing movement and attack mechanics that I've not really seen in other games. The music that played during some of these is truly haunting. Indeed, the ambience of the game in general is beautiful. I loved the atmosphere of the world, hearkening back to Hollow Knight and a little bit of Limbo. I really like the "layers" concept; having totally unique challenges for different kinds of playthroughs, and I ADORE the idea behind the layer 3 puzzles (For what it's worth, I completed layers 1 and 2 as of writing this review.)
All this said, the game did have some flaws for me. The biggest was probably the traversal/warp system. It's really annoying that the warp to the center of the map takes you to this out of the way room, from which you need to go through a bunch of hallways to get where you actually wanted to go. I found the warp system insufficient in general; there just weren't enough exit points, and i ended up having to do way too much backtracking to get where I wanted. This is only compounded by the player's slow movement speed, making some parts of the game sluggish to get through. Some important visual components didn't feel distinct enough. One of the optional items you can find allows you to break certain blocks, but those blocks look almost exactly like every other block, so it's hard to get much use out of unless you're switching to another optional item to aid in your search. There's another optional item that flips certain switches, but these switches are really hard to see. Speaking of items, there were a lot of items to cycle through by the end of layer 2. This constant menu-diving/pressing L/R over and over again felt cumbersome by this point, and I wish you could have mapped different items to different controller buttons or something to ameliorate this.
All in all, though, it was a good game. It's not often that I feel the need to "100%" a game, and this one reached that point for me. Would recommend.

Early Access Review
Overall a very fun survival game. Been playing a lot with my boyfriend. I really like a lot of the pal designs, especially Relaxaurus, Quivern and Lovander. The leveling progression is nice, I haven't really felt stuck at any particular level for too long. Crafting and basebuilding are fine, but there are clearly some kinks to be ironed out in Pal/Enemy AI, building certain structures (looking at you, sloped roof). Also our local multiplayer server will crash every now and again. Monitoring my RAM usage during runtime, it seems like there might be a memory leak going on? Not sure. I kind of wish there were more types, though I do like the straightforward strength/weakness situation they have going on here.
Solid recommend. I'm really excited to see where they take this game.

Really fun and pretty game! The platforming was very versatile and fun, the story was interesting, and the music and visuals really set an ominous mood. My only gripe was I got lost sometimes, and had to peek at a walkthrough at certain points. Still would recommend!
