There are some Souls players who do not like it but most enjoy it. So if you are the one who will enjoy it, then you're in for magical experience really. It's graphically quite optimized and not latest gen graphics, so average gaming pc should run it well. One recommendation for if you finally try it - in Elden Ring the environmental storytelling is pushed to the max, almost everything around is part of the big picture, even more than previous games (architecture, monuments etc). So don't make a mistake as I did and rush through the game. Oh and basically half of the game is hidden to optional areas, so there's that :D

Yeah i agree. It's like FS games really expect the player to use walkthroughs and wikis and whatnot with the way some things are handled, like for example, how the hell is someone supposed to know that a character is hidden as a statue in a specific place at a specific time, and you have to attack that hidden character to make this and that happen? But i guess they just want the player to play it multiple times and try out new things.

Haven't played Elden Ring yet, not sure if my pc can handle it, but i'm dying to play it ever since it came out. Given the massive success it had, i think they'll probably do DLCs with time (hopefully!)

I finished the game one time quite some time ago, so started with fresh character this time, completely have forgotten everything, well...as you saw from firsthand. Already missed Yuria's part this time, as did not use Yoel sigils on time. FS games really are unforgiving on how correctly we approach NPCs. I remember Patches was quite okay in DS3, so will try to do his quest (not as evil as in DS1). Anyway doing that DS3 play again as waiting that hopefully we get Elden Ring DLC (or not, we will probably find out).

Thanks man, you too! And be sure to check for the NPC called 'patches' on the wiki; i think you may have missed him. Buy the expensive key from the old lady on the firelink shrine, and go to the tower upstairs on the shrine. You may end up finding him there.Hope ya have a great game!
