You might think, oh another indie game, i will skip it. But i would tell you DON'T. If you like tycoon games, like; lemonade tycoon or burger tycoon, YOU HAVE TO try out cart life, because this game is great fun and has such a deeper storyline than any other tycoon wannebe game out there.

You can choose between 3 different type of people with all their own problems, you don't just have to take care of a coffee stand, hamburger or news -stand but also of real life problems and issues. You choose the price of your products, have to restock, buy a permit and even decide the things you like to say to other people.

I recommend this game and would like to add Best Indie game 2013! Enjoy it, i know i am.

This is really a unique game on steam. It is a mixture of dating simulator and visual novel. I am a big fan of this combination. Unfortunately steam is not having many of these games available (yet).

You start out by creating your own female character. After being invited to attent a magical school. Here you make new friends (or enemies), learn spells, have exams in school dungeons, run for class president and try to find a date for important balls.

Every week you will be asked what you want to study that week. It can be either magic (red, blue, green, white, black), study (smart) or sport (strength). During the week you will have many conversations, in which you have to choose how to respond, this will influence the storyline and ending.

This game is a good game to replay. I am now on my second runthrough.

If you like city building games, you are going to love this one.

You can decide what kind of president you are going to be. Are you going to slave your people for that little bit of profit and a filled swiss bank account or are you going to create villas by the sea? Are you going to bride, kill and scheme your way to the top or are you going to earn the loyalty and devotion of your people? Are you going to give people the right on gaymarriage, abortion, lower taxes and free education?

The game gives you an option to create your own president, male/female and special skills and handicaps or play as one of the infamous presidents.

Really a great game, the DLC Modern Times will let you play with even more buildings and options. This DLC is higly recommended. It gives 12 more scenarios.

Next time you’re off gallivanting around a massive RPG world, slaying monsters and fulfilling your destiny, spare a thought for the shopkeeper in the last town who sold you all your gear. Without them, you’d be a nobody – you’d have no sword, no armor, no healing products. Confined to a live of standing behind that counter, all for your benefit.

Except that, thanks to satirical shopkeep-em-up Recettear: An Item Shop’s Tale, we now know the truth – RPG shopkeepers lead an even more exciting life than their customer heroes. It can be a little too difficult to begin with, but stick at it and you’ll find one of the best RPGs of the year.

With its delightful mixture of store simulation and dungeon crawling adventure RPG elements, Recettear is a refreshing twist on the usual adventure style RPG. It’s funny without being annoying, addictive without being too repetitive and has deceptively deep game play.

Overall, Recettear is a charming game well worth the money!
