I will play this game, but it has major faults so if you're skeptical, avoid it.

Poorly optimized and using unreal 5 didn't help. Made for windows but runs TERRIBLE on windows. This game plays nicely on linux because it avoids the problems windows has.

While we wanted a re-imagining of Oblivion to replay today, i would bet the free to play community love project Skyblivion will far outshine this PRODUCT.

P.S. UNREAL ENGINE is an unoptimized and inefficient MESS.

Legendary series that got neglected by EA later on. Still worth revisiting and replaying.

It's a game designed to play-test the entirely new engine and development they are making for Arma 4. It's reduced price makes it an easy purchase if you enjoy the modding experience of this new engine and direction the dev team is going. Essentially almost all of Arma reforger will be turned into Arma 4 and released under that title once development is completed. Reforger is a conceptual slice of what Arma 4 will eventually be, but even this title is only a peak at its eventual design and features.

*MAY 13th: Sony crayon-eaters have double-down and restricted Helldivers 2 from over 170 countries that PSN is not available. There is no good faith from this corrupt corporation. Boycott may be inevitable.

Not only has recent updates made this game unplayable for many, now the crayon eating executives of Sony (career data breach company) think its a good idea to force a PSN login to some selfish end. To this point, if the idea of a PSN account is unattractive now, it would have been unattractive from the beginning. Its just evidently and blatantly egregious this late into a launch. Bait and switch tactics. Lie to yourself if you want Sony, we can see your intentions.

To the community managers who mouthed off, it only took me "120 seconds" to write this review against your triviality.

The devs have neglected optimization so much that this game is unplayable. Do not listen to anyone's excuses. No game should be this bad at utilizing your hardware. It wont even use your GPU and CPU completely. It just lags on MID

Update: this game is basically dead because its optimization lingered in an unplayable state for too long. Players have rightfully abandoned it.

Lacking so many features which is strange for how long as it has been released/playable, early access aside. Many years and it only has this much to show for it. And it's only playable under niche circumstances.

Bethesda is yet again seeking to destroy the community around this game by causing a separation between the modders and the community by acting as the middle man for profit....AGAIN! Do not participate in their attempts to poison and divide the community over paid mods again. Another example of corporate greed ruining yet another good thing!

While I am personally against the idea of forcing paid mods, if a system that was more fair to both players and modders existed where this company wasn't intercepting the cash flow to hard working modders and stealing it from the players and consumers, however many times over they've re-released this title, we would likely have no problem with paid mods. But they have failed to be fair numerous times! Bethesda's chances have expired to make this right!


Let them feel their failure publicly!
Spread the word and give the game a new bad review if you are against their attempts to meddle with the community.

This game really is not as fun as it should be. It's just copy pasting the same grind and lackluster interaction. you might as well be playing a grindy single player game

> Sandbox mode has been stripped of anything fun for those seeking to just enjoy the game out of the box. Not sure how they thought this was a good idea but the devs have essentially nickel and dimed the player into completing many other aspects of the game without clear direction of unlocking items, in order to utilize parts of the main game within the sandbox mode, so water based dinos, specific buildings, etc. are unavailable unless you do X-Y-Z first in the main game without explaining or showing you what is or is not unlocked so far.

SO SANDBOX MODE IS ONLY FOR COMPLETIONISTS????? That makes no sense whatsoever and is the single most reason i would not recommend this game.
