Game is good. Arrowhead is good. Sony is bad.
We won the Major Order against Sony. Good work, HELLDIVERS.

Early Access Review
Where do I start with this game?
Apart from the absolutely hideous launch, multiple delays, horrible in-game performance for the first 2 weeks from launch, and glaring bugs that were game-breaking, the game has now come a long way from that.
It's still not a perfect game, and will require some intense work from the developers to fix, but as of writing this review, the game is completely playable, and there are hundreds of hours of fun to be had with it, as long as you're willing to get through the extremely tough difficulty curve you're hit with after creating your character.
Things such as the vitamin -system, early-game gathering and getting used to the crafting are going to be difficult at first, but after getting the hang of it, the game takes a turn for the better.

The Pros:
- If you're into learning, this is the game for you. There is always something you can learn from steady game-play.
- The sailing mechanic in this game is pure gold. I have yet to encounter a game that does sea travel better.
- Currently, the game is receiving constant updates from the developers, mostly for the better of the game.
- Crafting and building in ATLAS is well done, and makes sense, in most cases.
- When played with a group of friends or acquaintances, ATLAS turns into a much better game.

The Cons:
- There are many exploits, some game-breaking. However, the developers are working on fixing them.
- Playing ATLAS solo is extremely tough, especially on the PvP oriented servers.
- Taming -system needs a major rework. Currently, taming takes too long, and tamed creatures die easily.
- While the developers are doing many performance updates, the game is still highly unoptimized.
- Weapon balance is horrible. Against wild creatures, most weapons are not doing much damage.
- Land / Sea claim system needs to be worked on. It is extremely hard to find land for yourself.

All that being said, I would still recommend this game. It is, after all, an early access -title, and the developers are working hard to make the game better on a weekly basis. The game has huge potential, and I hope to see it grow into a great game over time, all while enjoying it myself, even in it's current state.
