Ho boy...let's start from the fact that if you played Dead Cells, you played Windblown. So many things overlap - weapons, traits, visuals, designs, animation style. It's not bad, all in all it comes from the same devs, but I really really hope as new content gets added, Windblown will gain own personality when it comes to mechanics and perhaps story direction (which is unclear right now).
My only 2 critiques would be that difficulty difference between rat biome and incubator is atrocious, and that loops are god awful chore rather than "hoohooo go break the game, have fun!!". Starting from the first, you aren't allowed a single mistake while in the incubator on 5th difficulty. No surprise, 5BC was similarly unforgiving, but...getting stuck in an attack chain that hits hard and stuns you is a run ender. It's unfair. It's not skill issue, it's straight out bs. About the second note, there's no reason to even do loops other than unlock characters right now. They aren't enjoyable, everyone's forced into the same CC trinket spam build if you even wish to progress. Too many enemies, too spongy, no changes in the maps or enemy patterns. Do it once and peace out because it's such a bad experience.
Change those 2 to be more fun and forgiving and you've got a perfect coop rougelike.

I liked the experience. My only hopes is that the maps the dlc introduced will reappear in the future releases.

After 10+ years of using the free version I still open the app and wait for the ad popup that isn't there anymore. Deffo an upgrade worth investing in.

The "straight" title should have been priced 99 999$
