I wanted to like this game, I loved the idea of multiple generations of characters but the combat is just so slow and tedious. My first time playing through I thought it was hard and gave up, but my second time through I learned how to play it properly... to the point that the battles were boring, but not QUITE so easy I could just auto-battle my way through them.

I could turn the difficulty up, but then it just becomes tedious, plus I'd need to restart the game again. I liked the characters and the story so far (having gotten partway through generation 2) but I couldn't keep going.

I might try this game again some time in the future, but this time I'll probably just abuse the OP DLC Stuff and put it on easy just so I can breeze through with autobattle so I can enjoy the story.

Like most open world survival zombie things it's pretty boring, this one is fairly generic.

Honestly this is one of my favorite free games, really like the gameplay. It's more action'y than something like Diablo, though not quite on a level of something like Monster Hunter.

It's fun to play, unfortunately it's more fun with friends and my friends don't play it.

A diablo-like, closer to 2 than anything but with plenty of differences.

I love the vast skill tree and the various abilities. I definitely plan on playing this more in the future.

While I do consider it a step down from the GBA version, and at first I really hated the UI changes, I decided to beat it anyway just because I wanted all the FF games I own on steam to show that I've beaten them.

In the process I got used to the changes, and even learned to embrace the auto-battle feature. I do think the sprites look pretty meh, but it's hardly enough to consider calling the port bad over in my opinion.

It's still Final Fantasy 6, and I still enjoy it.

A mediocre port of one of my favorite games of all time, but I'd still take it over 99% of the games on Steam.

The controls are perfectly functional, the translation is fine, the graphics look a bit off but even though it's a mobile port it's not THAT bad of a port, and Final Fantasy 5 is my favorite game in the series so I'd still highly recommend it.

The gameplay is a copy of the second game's (whereas the second game had some minor changes from the first), while I like the gameplay I would have liked to see some changes again.

The story isn't as interesting as the plot from the previous two games, and while there's a little worldbuilding the game is mostly filled with character stuff, which isn't necessarily bad but I wish the story itself was more interesting.

Like the second game a lot of the game takes place in areas from the prior game, but unlike the second game there are fewer new areas and what new areas there are are kinda dull, plus the reason for exploring the same areas just didn't feel as interesting this time around. The music is good though, but that's to be expected from Falcom though.

Overall I can only barely recommend this, and only because I loved the first two games so much.

This game cannot be adequately described, it's just amazing, yet the more I go into detail the more I feel I might ruin it.

All said and done it's more than it seems.

It was a neat idea, but frankly the execution was fairly boring.
