Payday 3 just feels unfinished and in all honesty, if it had all the features that payday 2 had like preplanning, perk decks and the library of potential approaches and weaponry to use when going loud or stealth, it would be growing. Everything has been simplified, and its not what the community wanted.

Progression - *changed* - why? who knows, *no XP reward for completing a heist*? why? No one asked for this.

Guns - *Less*, no LMG's? why?, 1 sniper? no semi auto?, 1 assault rifle that can 1HS kill making all other redundant. Don't talk to me about the SMG's. 1 sidearm that has guaranteed 1 HS kill so others are redundant in loud. Also no SMG, shotgun or sniper secondary's limiting loadout. No hilarious crossbows, Big spoons, breaching tools or prison shivs. And you can forget about Melee builds all together.

Attachments - *No numbers given* and more difficult attachments to attain are actually worse than others that just cost cash. *Why does everything make my gun take 4 years to ADS*.

Heists - They are *creatively bankrupt* with WIFI circles in everyone of them. And if you didn't notice it in Road rage you'll never be able to un-see it now. Understandably less in number as its a new game. More linear then ever.

Skills - *simplified* remember choosing to armour gate or health gate or dodge or tank and thinking and experimenting what skills to use and debating with other players, taking time to perfect a build or strategy. Not any more run Enforcer, Armourer and an armour bag or get ♥♥♥♥ on kids.

Deployables - *Armour bag meta* and *Can't Ace* so enjoy placing it for it to be eaten by your team as you have one, and if its not eaten a Cloaker will destroy it lol. R.I.P - ♥♥♥'s Tripmines and Jack of all trades Aced. Less replay-ability less viable approaches.

Perkdecks - *Missing* has anyone seen them? This was what *made Payday 2 Special*. Yes some were meta over others but once you'd mastered one you could learn another, E.g. i loved burglar loud and that's weird but it was fun, hitman, dodge and melee focused decks could be hilarious. Once i'd used stoic long enough as a crutch for DSOD, learning the ins and outs of other decks was a challenge and created *replay-ability* again REPLAY-ABILITY. Something Payday 3 has very little of.

Stealth - *why 2 pagers instead of 4*? why are the *pager numbers not displayed*? worse the *Lead guard is just a guaranteed restart* unless you snap his neck with the takedown skill. Guards are all bugged. *No rag-doll?* why? Improved in some areas over payday 2 however WiFi CiRcLeS and again, no preplanning. Shadow raid a heist I could play for an entire day as it was fun because - No specific bags needed just a threshold of loot to escape. Cool loot too (Samurai armour, relic thingy that looked like an alien and a server with the presidents email on it lol) not just different sizes of money bundles and sloppy looking bin bags of coke.

*Preplanning* - offered several different approaches and made areas easier to loot over others, you could choose where to have a loot drop off point out of 3 locations, Your pagers determined your approach and what area to dominate. to either make the looting or depositing easier. E.g. gold and sharke (BIG BANK 2.0 but worse) You cant buy elevator access all the time and if you dont your just throwing bags past civvies and it just feels stupid. Big bank had an elevator, bus-stop and C4 escape offering a different solution and each having inherent advantages/disadvantages when compared. Gold and Sharke has ♥♥♥♥ all. Its boring. It's lazy.

Loud - RIP transport heists.*Armour bag or fail*. No one asked for "Overkill" weapons and only *one viable overkill weapon* the other is self-harm. No RPG, Commando, Compact GL. Shields are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. In Payday 2 once you'd flanked or bypassed the shield with, idk a AP, Fire, Explosion etc they were a regular unit health wise. Why are they now so tanky but do ♥♥♥♥ all damage? doesn't make any sense or add anything.

*Medics poof gone*.

Zapper?? ♥♥♥♥ was wrong with taser?

*One type of bulldozer* instead of the library that needed different approaches or threatened different perk decks. E.g. Kingpin mains having a panic attack over green dozers, Dodge mains pooing themselves over minigun dozers. Skull dozers looked so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool aswell and now we just have a tall bloke who talks ♥♥♥♥ in a blue riot outfit with an autoshotty. Bring back the chonk look.

Loud summary - boring and a downgrade. As prior mentioned the disappearance of perk-decks hurts loud gameplay just as badly if not worse than stealth.

Movement - *Vaulting is inconsistent and janky*. Do i have to slide everywhere really? Sliding feels dumb a lot of the time, its cool for about 10 minutes. *Its a Payday Game not Apex Legends*. I want crouch jumping back. I can't sprint in any direction *RIP parkour aced*

Health and armour - Neither can Regenerate like they did in Payday 2. Why? Great way to alienate your player base. And yes you can Get a tiny bit of armour back but if your armour broke in Payday 2 you didn't need an armour bag.

C stacks - The ♥♥♥♥ is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥? *a tool to monetise the game* i bet as Starbreeze leaked the Micro transaction currency before any gameplay. *Waiting a week* to progress is just stupid on top of layers of stupid. And a *jump from 100 to 500 C stacks for a gun? why? Apart from the cringe Paint job why would i do that when i can just build the gun and be able to change the attachments myself*.

More on "Special" Guns - In Planetside 2 you can get special "Auraxium" guns but they are such because they have quirks such as attachments, ammo or heat mechanics instead of mags etc so ♥♥♥♥ you can't get on the regular version not just a paint job. Masks and gloves for C stacks as well? With everything prior mentioned why would anyone want to grind for anything? Are you making it painful so the community pays for a currency instead? Very Wishful thinking.

Why they did it was pointless. -

Piracy Protection - I've already found people who've used funny Marketplace exploits on other platforms to essentially pirate the game and even more have so i didn't protect against that. Most people have just tried it on Game-pass or PlayStation plus or whatever and decided its not worth paying for as well.

Cheater Protection - I've come across several cheaters, using GL's with unlimited ammo as a secondary. Shooting cops all over the map spinning on the spot. So we can safely assume that this justification didn't age well.

A similar situation to PAYDAY 2 VS PAYDAY 3 -

A similar situation occurred Between Supreme commander forged alliance and Supreme commander 2. The original game was so loved it now has FAF (Forged alliance forever) a dedicated mod with matchmaking and tournaments with a healthy player count. Supreme commander 2 however, simplified, boring, missing key features of the original and aimed at a more generic audience. Is now untouched with little modding support. Payday 3 will go the same way if its not careful and makes very important decisions over the coming 6 months.

In conclusion -

*You know you've got something horribly wrong when the previous game has more current players.*

I'd rename Payday 3 to Payday 1.5 It has improved in some areas but *overall its a downgrade to Payday 2* so it *doesn't deserve to be called Payday 3*.

Honestly for £2 on sale i can't complain, really got into the story and when you turn bullet cam off the game-play feels a lot faster and you can really up the pace, learning to adjust shots yourself and the importance of positioning as well as preparation are key game-play mechanics, several ammo types and varying deployables allow you be creative.

I recommend exploring and completing Side missions and the Most Wanted List where possible before progressing the campaign as it allows you to really enjoy the best gear and weapons when you need them most.

Currently a game under construction however a wonderful escape to a place of beautiful tanquility with incredible graphics, but dont be fooled how this game brings almost a new definition to destruction, to be honest under 4 hours of gameplay i have blown more things up than i should have ever had any right to.

However 1 thing you MUST NOT DO, unfortunatly my experience was short lived after a shadow bug made daylight look like strobe lighting as shodows warped and flashed.

SO DO NOT CHANGE GRAPHICAL SETTING ON ANYTHING IF NOT POSSIBLE JUST DONT TOUCH SHADOW OPTIONS.
