Game good.

Sony bad.

Sony reverted bad mistake, the correct way, as a matter of fact.

Thanks Sony, but you still suck

Okay, ive have been sitting on this game for probably 2 years. Ive seen good reviews, bad reviews, and gameplay for this game and just never felt like playing it. However, after playing it for 6 hours (as of writing this) i was hit with some realizations. This game has some cool ♥♥♥♥, and some bad ♥♥♥♥.

Good:
The guns feel great, however they have drawbacks
The attachments feel useful and great
The Diverse maps are neat
It has a lot of weapon variants and things to collect
An easy to follow story on every map

Bad:
Maps are very crudely detailed (understandably due to vr limitations), some rooms have just a bookcase in front of the door.
Some guns are just purely outclassed in every category
The attachment system is just god awful to use and manage (getting fixed soon)
The story is just god awful and so is the voice acting. Like ♥♥♥♥.
The AI is pretty terrible too tbh, but thats also okay tbh
Grenade throwing sometimes just sucks for me? (skill issue? maybe.)
The scopes kinda suck, but ive always hated realistic scopes.

Is the game fun? Yes
Is the game good? Eh, id say so
Is the game going to keep you entertained for hours and hours? Maybe, I dont have friends with VR so i cant say for sure, but this game would probably be very cool with friends. So that could add a lot of replayablity. But as it stands, there just isn't a big enough reason to replay missions.
Will I keep playing? Probably, there are a lot of attachments i wanna use, and still have some missions to finish. I do enjoy the game, but i wish it didnt feel like a beta.

7.5/10 -- 0.5 for ragdoll physics be funny sometimes

Ill change my review when something changes however, I'm giving this version of Halo a thumbs down due to the complete lack of humanity passed forth from the Head of the company and its shareholders for the complete lack of insight towards the development of Halo Infinite.
The game is a complete cash-grab. It was obvious before the game was even announced and and it was obvious in the beta, and its even more obvious now. I know its been said again and again but its ridiculous. $10+ for basically any Spartan cosmetics, Labeling the game as "free to play" yet it has "the most expansive customization system ever"? You literally CAN NOT unlock items for your spartan if you don't pay money. What a joke.
However, the game-play is fantastic but, there is some things that need changing; like small bugs or how melee doesn't connect all the time. Things along those lines. Otherwise its fun and enjoyable, except that there isn't a way to play the modes you want so you get players who don't play the objective, except there isn't a point to play the objective since you get LITERALLY nothing for winning, not even a counter to show how many kills/wins you have in your career profile (that I could tell). Speaking of modes, there is literally like 5 total modes to play, since they somehow launched without fan favorites like infection or swat? How the hell do you not have swat, i played that ♥♥♥♥ when i was SIX and you launch a new title without it? Wack.

Needs a faster form of travel imo as after 50 hours, running is getting really obnoxious since i cant afk while i run somewhere like BDO, but otherwise i really like this game. Definitely worth the money and is probably the most finished game thats been released in a while.

The game is amazing, especially for a small developer team. There is hundreds of hours of content to do, if you enjoy some of the same thing over and over. Let me explain:
The 5 current bosses are all basically pushovers, the only ones that are hard are the elder and bonemass, the two best abilities in my opinion. the games progression through bosses need a Little work, as like i said, some bosses are really easy, the first boss can probably be beat with your fists tbh. The greydwarves in the black forest are ungodly obnoxious as they tend to run away causing you to have to chase them down to stop their obnoxious rocks and noise. They also spawn in ridiculous amounts, making the base defense actually Needed as they just run into spikes till they die over and over for the whole day, basically you make a wood farm at that point. pvp isnt really there yet since the parrying system turns most fights into a *swing first* battle. Exploration is definitely a big part of the game but with the current things To find (dungeons, structures, and landscape) you tend to be able to have seen Pretty much everything really quickly, dungeons are usually lack luster and are only there as a source for surtling cores/iron. Nothing else good spawns in them which is a missed opportunity. another big gripe i have is that items Do Not despawn, this sounds like a plus until you build on the coast and enemies die in the ocean, items just sit in the water forever until you get them. Another problem is, lets say your friend made an axe and it breaks, he will toss it on the ground and make a new one if he cant repair it, if you walk over to it, you will pick it up since it wasnt thrown by you, now that you are going to toss it, your friend can now repick it up on accident since He didnt throw it out last, causing a cycle of picking up trash.

However, I did say the game was good, the gear progression feels worth it every time, each item feels better and stronger then before, even in the hardest biome that can one shot you until you get upgraded iron armor. The biomes are cool and look great every time you go into them. If you have some friends, building a village just always looks great every time. Most enemies you encounter also interact with the world just as you do, trolls and knocks a forest of trees down with a single swing, Or you can use them to farm copper early in the game before you even get a pickaxe. greydwarves can be crushed by a falling tree just as much as you can. enemies and animals swim through rivers and lakes to get to you or around your defenses. The building in this game is something that takes getting used to but its amazing, i wish we can have a Little more freedom with it, possibly more items To build (i know, early access), however it still is my favorite thing to do.
You can tame animals and plant crops/tree to grow and use again, you can tame things from boars to giant mammoth type creatures called Lox. Farming materials in this game feels just like minecraft but a little extra steps since it takes longer to do most things, however that is okay since to me, it feels great.

Either way, i recommend this game to anyone looking for something to fill the void of the empty gaming market currently
