If you're looking for a game that provides quick, addictive entertainment, this is it; simple at its core: move from room to room, fight enemies, fight bosses, move on to the next floor. The battles themselves don't require much thought or strategy; however, the decisions you make in terms of what items to carry in order to boost your stats for as long as you hold them or what upgrades to consume to permanently affect your character will determine the difficulty and chances of survival as you move from room to room and floor to floor. Although there isn't much depth into the actual story (for the most part you won't really notice this game even has one, and you're reminded of the story through the intro, which plays whenever your start the game up), the Binding of Issac: Rebirth makes up for this by providing a slew of various elements into the gameplay that'll make you want to come back for more. This game is unforgiving- die once, and you have to start over. It spices up every playthrough by randomizing everything- the upgrades, the bosses you encounter, the items in rooms, the secret and super secret rooms-, and the various different characters you can control and challenges you can explore will keep pushing you to do one more run through this hell.
